1. Importing from Commons
If there is some material you like from the commons, you can use this feature to import from the
commons.

2. Choose Home Page
This option will allow you to select what homepage you wish to appear first.

3. Course setup checklist
This is a helpful checklist but as you can see, not all will be used.

4. New announcements
You can create a message to your students, post some upcoming events/assignments, helpful resources, or
anything else you wish to help the students with.

5. People
This is where you as a teacher can add students to this course/sandbox.
You will start out with something that looks like this
Let’s say that you want to use this particular course for a group of students, your PLC, students
with certain accommodations (i,e…reduced work), etc.
You can [a] add the students/people manually or [b] use a link to have them sign up. For our basic
course, we will only do the first part otherwise it will be information overload.
