2. Introduction
In this PowerPoint I will be looking at the
actors,loactions,costumes and props that I will be
using for my trailer and the reason why I chose them.
3. Actors
Imogen Law (Samantha)
Shane Fellows (Benjamin "Big Ben")
Stephanie Allmark (Rose)
Tom Yeomans (Liam)
Recce Bahia (Raymond "Ray")
Scott Webster (Ryan)
The actors in my film will be focused on the profile of their characters for
example Imogen will have a personality which is distant and rarely
mentioned,this is because she is considered to be the lonely person in the
group. Also in the group there will be a typical split between people in the
group as some people will bond with Shane while others will bond with Scott,
this is due to their rivalry within in the group which is something that
is normally seen between a group of friends. Choosing the actors in my film
was not a hard choice as some of the people I have chosen do drama so it
would be easy for them to be able to do there chosen roles. While I chose the
other people as I felt that people were the right people for the roles which I
have chosen for them so it would be easy for them to replicate there chosen
roles.
4. Locations
My trailer will be located in two locations my school and a
woodland area nearby my house, the reasons why I chose
these locations is that these locations are easy for me to
reach to and it would be easy replicate the horror
genre especially in a woodland area as it adds towards the
mystery of the trailer as it will be unknown what type of
horror it will be for example it could be an animal or a
psychotic killer. While the reason why I chose the school
is because it was the start location and is easy to
reach plus it gives the audience a background towards the
storyline and an idea about each others characters and
their personality.
5. Costumes
The person who is the killer will be wearing a hoodie so its adds to the
mystery of the trailer so it will be unknown to both the audience and
the people involved who the killer is. Shane will be wearing a dark red
top as dark red is seen to represent leadership and his character is
considered to be the leader of the group. Imogen will be wearing black
as it is seen to represent loneliness and she is considered to be the
lonely person of the group, Steph will be wearing purple as it is
considered to be a colour which conveys creativity, mystery and magic
which will represent her character, while Tom will be wearing blue as
it is considered to represent trust, loyalty and wisdom which would
represent his character, Scott will wear black as it is considered to
represent evil which shows off his characters personality as he is
considered to be evil and manipulative. The reason why i chose to use
these costumes for my movie trailer is that by looking at what certain
colours represent I thought that these colours would best suit these
characters.
