hospitals etc, utilising Amtech, MS Office, Dialux and CAD software.
Attending design and project meetings, carrying out surveys and producing
reports to a professional standard. Making applications to statutory authorities,
telecommunication companies etc.

Teaching and lecturing electrical engineering/installation to students to City &

Designing electrical services for a range of clients and projects including St.
Stephens Retail/Paragon Interchange, Hull (Approx £6M M&E), Network
Rail, Council and MOD sites.
Using various computer software packages including AutoCAD 2007, Amtech
Prodesign 2007, Dialux 4.3, Specification Expert as well as Microsoft Office
to produce reports, calculations, drawings and accompanying documentation

summary with accompanying documentation.

Working in the office in the role of Electrical Engineer. My Duties included
preparing tenders and quotations for various customers ranging in size and
complexity.
Using various computer software packages to collate information for reporting
and financial control, this included the ordering of materials and labour
control for each job.

needs.

1990-1995 Electrical Advisor & Trainer (Supervisor of Electrical Dept.), Summer Institute of
Linguistics;
Carrying out electrical design, estimating, maintenance and training. Three
years were spent training nationals in Papua New Guinea, ordering materials,
producing estimates and general administration.

Working in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia supervising a multi-
national team of electricians on several major projects.
1970-1978 Five Year JIB Apprenticeship, Instrument Technician – Approved Electrician/
Chargehand, Drake & Scull Eng. Ltd., Instrumentation/Electrical Dept.
Wiring instrumentation control panels in a workshop; working on Natural Gas,
Chemical, Oil (Wytch Farm) sites as well as Power Stations across the
country.
