 Matthew Corallo has served as a teacher and principal

partnership with the American Place Theatre,
Matthew Corallo also serves as member of the theater's
board of advisors.
The American Place Theatre offers the Literature to
Life program, which involves taking a piece of classic
American literature and having professional actors
perform it word-for-word in a dramatic presentation.

3. American Place Theatre
 The theater achieves this goal through its Living
Library in-school residencies, which brings these
performances of literary works to auditoriums and
classrooms across the country.
A Literature to Life Theatre presentation includes a 15-
minute discussion prior to the approximately hour-
long performance. Following the performance, they
hold another 15-minute discussion to help students
further understand what they have experienced. The
program also includes a teacher's resource guide.
