Key Responsibilities as ELV Engineer:
 Monitoring performance, progress and reporting any issues and risks to the Project Manager
for further action.
 Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with an ELV Engineer in construction,
commissioning, and handover management and the coordination of relevant parties including
Consultants and Contractor involved in the delivery of ELV works including the coordination of
the relevant interfaces with Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Building works.
 Assist Project Manager on work plans, technical appraisals, and validation of works at site,
diagnosing problems and issues and coordinating the resolution of the same.
 Participation in the validation of the design basis and philosophy including area utilization,
implementation of applicable standards, scheme layout for zoning of ELV systems, outline
schedules, sequencing of activities, ease of maintenance and functional methodologies.
 Preparations of Technical Material Submittals for Client/Consultant approval.
 Material take-offs as per tender and shop drawings.

 Equipment/Device Selections for ELV system.
 Attending for Engineering / Technical & progress meeting with Main Contractor, Project
Management team, Client & Consultant.
 Preparations of Shop Drawings, Panel drawings and wiring diagrams along with supplier and
client requirement.
 Review and appraise various method statements during construction, commissioning and
handover phases.
 Supervise subcontractors to carry out site works according to design intent and the suppliers
for timely delivery of the equipment.
 Ensure that the installations of ELV related systems (CCTV, Clean Agent, VESDA, ACS, PA,
BMS, FA, Structured Cabling, Telephone & Data etc.) are in compliance with drawings,
required specifications and standards.
 Keep records and related data of site progress in order to maintain regular / timely update to
senior managers.
 Involved in testing and commissioning of the installed systems and ensure compliance and
handover.
 Preparation of Tie-in packages for ELV systems (adding the new systems to the existing
systems).
 Preparations of Field Modification Requests (FMR).
 Preparations of claims for varied works.
 Preparations of As Built drawings.

 Preparations of Shop Drawings using AutoCAD 3d software.
