System (SIMOPS) (Leighton Offshore) – Successful in completing the high-end Shell Bukom Refinery lump sum Project in
Singapore harbour – as Offshore Construction Manager – involving 48-inch pipeline excavation removal and reinstallation
C/w new subsea plem and SBM changeout one day ahead of the defined strict deadline and with no safety incidents. Played
a major role in managing close-out operations of Do 23 on air diving system and Do 24 saturation system as well as start-up
of phase one of Shell Bukom 48-inch pipeline repair. Managed project remobilisation for commencement of phase two
along with close-out of DP trials for FMEA and Shell. Defined work procedures, undertook risk assessments and completed
tie-in of 48-inch spool to subsea Plem using saturation divers. Closely coordinated with subcontractors, project engineers,
safety representatives, marine crew and Shell CSR while motivating personnel through positive feedback and rewards, thus
ensuring a safe working culture at workplace.
Inspection, Hazard Analysis, Diving Team Management – Expertise in underwater oxy-arc cutting, welding
and metrology; spool installation and hydratight application of flange bolts surface and subsea; installation of Smart &
Gripper flanges for pipeline repairs, subsea plough cable burial and riser installations/clamps; SBM installation/maintenance
as well as FSPO mooring/platforms/SBM/Plem/Christmas tree installations.
(Smit Subsea International) – Worked as Offshore Project Manager for Inspection Dubai Petroleum Platforms; involved in
UT, MPI, CVI, MG, FM, inspection survey, NDT and GVI using divers and ROV on four platforms and numerous pipelines in
Fateh Field Dubai. Administered open/close work permits and lock-out/tag-outs on platform intakes. Collaborated with DPE
CSR and platform controllers for shutdowns, generated daily reports for project engineer, organised safety drills/meetings,
performed risk assessments and created procedures for work commencement.
(Pertamina Oil) – As Client Site Representative, monitored safe diving operations of diving teams to deliver optimum work
results. Recommended safe procedures for repair of leaking pipelines and oversaw diver UT, MPI and MG inspection, ROV
GVI workpacks on platforms and flare tripods. Executed vessel safety culture audit for DP vessel DSV Penrith and provided
daily progress reports of all operations to clients and stakeholders.

2. Health and Safety, Work Class ROV Specialisation and Deep Water Repair/Construction (Rubicon Offshore –
1000 FSW Philippines) – Instrumental in developing safety management procedures and JSAs as part of revamping of single
mooring project; additionally reinstated project of mooring system (short-term lump sum contract) from FSPO in 1000 FSW
Nido Fields Philippines, as Offshore Construction Manager. Devised a safety management and salvage plan while leading
commercial diving team, work class ROV and two salvage vessels in SIMOPS. Recovered subsea USSB and LSSB on URTI to
deck of main salvage vessel, DPDSV Maverik. Enabled umbilical reconnect to tether and pass back mooring system to FSPO.
Created daily progress reports for client and company management.
Diving Expertise, Complicated Diving Project Execution, Training/Mentoring and Timely Completion
Projection (Global Al Rashald) – Experience of working as Offshore Diving Superintendent and executing the two-year lump
sum project of 40-inch water injection pipeline installation C/W 10 x 70 ton valve skids, 15 x risers and 20 tie-in spools.
Provided training to diving crew on preparing 35% and 40% nitrox breathing mixture to enable longer working times and
minimum decompression. Additionally, coached divers on hydratight procedures on pipeline closing of spool flanges both
on surface and subsea. Facilitated risk assessments, safe working procedures, diving safety drills and daily written progress
reports to clients and stakeholders; proactively implemented the project within set schedule of two years and on budget.

Mobilising nine sets of mooring chains for re-installation on FSPO STP location at Wencheng Field South China
– each chain set had three lengths of 100m chains with a final weight, C/W connection plates and shackles, of 135 ton.
Wet stored new chain, picked up old ground wire and ballast chains disconnected upper ground wire to STP;
subsequently, wet stored old chains and ground wires at assigned subsea storage location. Recovered wet stored new chain
to deck.
Picked up new ground wire and adjustment chain – applied up to 90 ton tension – to remove slack to suction
anchors; connected new adjustment chain to new ballast chain and relayed up to the STP.
Executed all operations in SIMOPS with two other DP DSVs laying cables and reconnecting ground wires on
STP.

DP DSV Altus Exertus – OCM/CSR/DSV Superintendent; Client: Shell Singapore Mar 2013 – Aug 2013
Managed phase one activities wherein cut out two FJ of 48” pipeline using subsea diamond saw and attached
wire lifting slings for cut pipe removal. Attached 4 x 48mm wire davit slings for pipeline lift. Air lift under pipeline and fitted
27 x 5 ton lift bags along pipeline to assist lift operations. Drilled 100mm hole from pipeline cut insert pig stopping bar.
Steered recovery of 2.7km of abandoned 48-inch pipeline in anticipation of 250 ton gravity Plem installation.
Collated procedures and risk assessments for deployment and tie-in of connecting spool from new pipeline to
Plem in saturation from DSV in SIMOPS with Leighton crane barge Stealth and Boskalis dredger/rock dump barge.
Cut and fitted slings to old pipeline for recovery by Stealth Barge.
Ensured timely project completion and vessel de-mobilisation.
