My Life Is My Father
The person that I've always looked up to and seen as my hero my whole life is my father. He is the most humble man I know. His humility remind
me each day how there are good people that truly exist in this world. He he acquired this trait from my grandfather and grandmother who use to
clothe, feed, and house immigrants that came to the United stated in the mid 70s and 80s. My dad told me how my grandpa never denied anyone
help how he would help those that came through his house until they were able to get on their two feet. My pride would say that I'm a humble person
however I know I have loong way to truly acquire humility.
Growing up I was always a kind kid. I didn 't mind sharing with other children my snacks But as every child at the age of innocence I had no clue
what other children my age went through each day in their homes the struggles that they had to face at such a young age. I didn 't notice that some of
them wore the same pair of pant to school each day or the reason why during our school concerts their parent weren 't out in the stands like mine. To
me everyone look the same and had a happy family just like me. It wasn 't Until fifth grade that I truly discovered the struggles other went through and
how I was so fortunate for never having to go through the same struggles as those other around. During the beginning of fifth grade I met a man name
Mr.Trentent. He was a big round man with red hair. He was an assistant to one of my classmates name Nathan

The Hero in My Life
What makes someone a hero? Is it their ability to put others first? Is it their bravery? I believe a hero to me is someone who goes above and beyond
or isn't satisfied with being average. A hero is someone who puts their own life at risk in order to save someone else. A hero is also someone who
knows what matters in life and doesn't let that slip through their fingers. A hero is someone who is determined to do the right thing and make sure
others are doing the right thing. The hero in my life is my dad. He's a hero because he's courageous, determined, and always puts his family first. My
dad is courageous because he was apart of September 11th.For those of you who don't know what happened on September 11th, it was the day the twin

My dad invests his money in us instead of buying investing it in things for him and my mom. He enjoys giving us nice things because it makes
him happy when we're happy. My dad also supports and encourages us. He is constantly telling us how proud he is of us and he is always there for
us. He knows how to pick us up when we are down and gives the best advice; Even when we make bad decisions he still loves us and tells us how
to make things right. My family is extremely important to my dad and any man who chooses a family over their career is a hero. All in all, how
can you not see that my dads a hero? When you are courageous, determined and put your family first anything is possible. My dad goes above and

My Father Is My Hero
My dad is my hero.
It was only last week when I was prompted to recall this. When I tore my meniscus five months ago, I underwent surgery in order to remove the
damaged tissue. Recovery was going well, but unbeknownst to me, if you do not keep up with your physical therapy exercises, then you will regress
in your abilities. I had been running just the week before, but within a week I learned this brutal lesson because I could no longer walk. It was a
setback in my running due to overuse and a regrettable lack of motivation to do my physical therapy exercises.
Yet as much pain as I was in, this was only like a glimpse into my father's life withcerebral palsy. Due to his shortened hamstring muscles, he is unable
to extend his legs fully,...show more content...
For clarification, cerebral palsy is a diverse disorder that affects every patient uniquely. It is usually marked by severely diminished motor
coordination and spastic muscle qualities. Notably is Melody from the novel Out of My Mind. She is an example of a critical case of CP where she
cannot sit upright or talk. However, there are patients on the other end of the spectrum, including my dad. These individuals can control many fine
motor movements, and often, they can walk with some aid.
It would be easy for my dad to succumb to his circumstances, choose to be inactive, have a negative outlook on life. What is so inspiring about my
father is that he did not take this road. Instead he falls into the category with other able–bodied dads: he has an unfortunate choice in calf–length white
socks, ancient New Balance sneakers, and a preoccupation with road maps and directions.
Here is an image of my father. My mom insisted on taking this picture of him while we were celebrating his most recent birthday. To the
unsuspecting viewer, my dad is a jovial man who has just turned 29. One might say that his smile lights up the room as much as the cake. Although he
was actually turning 59, the candles turn back the clock 30 years because he has a comical obsession with claiming that he is perpetually 29. I
suppose the older one gets, the more denial he or she must feel.
This photograph encapsulates my father's personality. He incarnates the phrase "When life gives you lemons,

My Father Is My Hero
My Father, My Hero When I was four, I knew I had the greatest dad in the world. My dad always made me laugh, always took care of me when I was
sick, and always found time to spend with me outside of work. My dad has been a firefighter for almost 30 years. He started in April of 1995 and has
been with Tupelo Fire Department since. My dad started out as a sergeant driving the fire truck when he first began his career as a firefighter. In
May of 2016, he was promoted Captain of Station 6 in Tupelo, Mississippi. In a recent interview I had with my dad, I asked him questions about his job.
Some questions included what was the toughest part of his job, how it felt when he had to leave his family for work in the morning, and knowing
what he knows now about firefighting now, would he go back and change his choice of career. Before this interview, I knew firefighting was a serious
job, but I had no idea of some of the incidents my dad had encountered. The interview was heart–felt and could be gut wrenching, depending on the
question I asked my dad. My father is my hero, not only because of the lives he has helped, but because he has been the person to always make me
laugh through hard times. My dad, Captain Mark Patton, has always found humor in any situation. Even when he has to be serious in calls he is
dispatched to, he finds a way to make his samaritans laugh. One question I asked my dad was, "Have you ever received any calls that have been
hilarious and just

My Hero, My Grandfather Essay
My Hero, My Grandfather My grandfather was a very loving man, he loved his family more than anything he had known. The only thing that could
compare to his love for his family, was his love for his country.
In his life he would have to make many sacrifices for his country, and the second would be supporting his wife and kids. He took on hardships with ease
, he always had a certain calmness to him, this is something I idolize about him, I would like to learn how to act this way. He's my hero because he was
special, not like anyone else I have ever met, he knew he was special, but he never he never flaunted it. In this essay I will try to paint a picture of my
hero, and give examples of why my grandfather is my hero.

He met my grandmother when he was twelve years old, and she was nine years old. They would go to dances, and they would enjoy each others
company in the cheapest way they could, because their money was limited. After two years the they fell in love, and knew they were destined to be
together. They would talk about marriage, and what they wanted to grow up to be, and about having children, and how many. In 1948, my grandpap
enlisted into the US army, because he knew he was too young and he didn't have enough money to get married. He knew by joining the military, it
would open new doors for him. In order to sign up, he changed his birth certificate. So he said bye to his girlfriend, my grandmother, and left for basic
training.
In 1949, my grandpap was sent to Korea. While in the military, he and my grandmother would write to each other, to keep their relationship in tact.
He would serve three chaos filled years in Korea. While in Korea, he was wounded in three different places during two different occasions. The first
time he was wounded by a hand–grenade, he was hit in the head, which caused some impairment in his right eye, and he was also hit in the foot, he
spent three months in a hospital where his toe was amputated. He would tell me that when you were hit "it felt hot at first, but then it would get cold".
I never quite understood this sensation, because I have never experienced it, this is one of the many things he tried to teach me

My Father Is A Hero
When I think of a hero I think of a strong person who cares about the things they believe. Thay care about others around them. They help the people
in need. They stand for what is right. This is why my dad became my hero. My dad is a great man. he grew up in a small town. In the same place i
grew up. He was born 61 years ago. He grew up as a hard worker on a mountain herding sheep. He later met my mom and they got married. Later on in
his life he develop lyme disease and is now currently functionally blind has extreme anxiety and depression. Fro as long I have known he has been
kind hearted, service oriented, and has had a good perspective on life.
Some of the things that I look up to my dad is how he treats others around him. Sometime he might seem a little scary and intimidating, but every
time he goes to town he makes someones day. He always compliments them or puts joy into their lives. Most the time when he does this he does not
know the person and has never met this person. I also look upto on how caring he is about everyone. One time we went down to mexico and we went
to a part where there is not much money and it is poor and not many people have houses. My family and i went into a shop and was looking around the
people who owned the shop was a father and a daughter and no mother the lived and sleep in this shop too. When we left we went to another shop
across the street and my ad went back into the previous shop we was in. he went and gave the daughter

My Personal Hero
Dads are underrated members of society who do not get enough recognition for what they do. My dad is my personal hero because he, along with
others, has boosted me up when I needed it most. For instance, when I am sick, he is always the one who takes care of me to make sure I am
always on the right track to feeling better. He always comes in to make sure I am doing okay, sometimes even to the point where it annoys me. My
dad also helps me with my homework when I need it, and makes corrections where I have made a mistake. Moreover, he has given me
encouragement by telling me I could do anything I put my mind up to and more, and I am appreciative because it has given me confidence in areas
where I had insecurities. In addition, my dad not only

My Hero Is My Father
This image shows that a hero is someone of great honor; a hero can be anyone as long as they do what is right. A hero is someone with great
integrity and will help their fellow man. A hero is someone who saves the day; they are the ones who work to ensure that their life's work improves
the lives of those around them. A hero is the person who sacrifices for the greater good; theysacrifice their lives, money, and time to make for the
greater good. They sacrifice themselves to cause the betterment of circumstances for all. My hero is my dad, because of the sacrifices he has made.

His strength and knowledge have saved others and even my own life. My own experience was not very terrifying due to the fact that he knew
what was wrong with me, my diabetes caused me to experience a low blood sugar to the point of nearly passing out. My father was able to help me
feel perfectly fine within fifteen minutes. My father is a man of great integrity and ability who will literally give you the shirt off his back if you
needed it. He is why I am alive today and countless others in our community. My experience with these characteristics with my father are more
unnoticeable, but one such image that stands out in my mind, is the countless trauma calls he has taken me on. One such experience was the night, a
man, broke his leg to the point that it was next to his head. The man was severely drunk and kept trying to leave, my father struggled with the man
until he calmed down enough that they could help him. He struggled with many people that night, trying to provide proper care, even while the man's
friends tried to impede him at every turn. His effort in helping that man, even though they were belligerent and idiotic is why he is a

  • 3. My Father Is My Hero My dad is my hero. It was only last week when I was prompted to recall this. When I tore my meniscus five months ago, I underwent surgery in order to remove the damaged tissue. Recovery was going well, but unbeknownst to me, if you do not keep up with your physical therapy exercises, then you will regress in your abilities. I had been running just the week before, but within a week I learned this brutal lesson because I could no longer walk. It was a setback in my running due to overuse and a regrettable lack of motivation to do my physical therapy exercises. Yet as much pain as I was in, this was only like a glimpse into my father's life withcerebral palsy. Due to his shortened hamstring muscles, he is unable to extend his legs fully,...show more content... For clarification, cerebral palsy is a diverse disorder that affects every patient uniquely. It is usually marked by severely diminished motor coordination and spastic muscle qualities. Notably is Melody from the novel Out of My Mind. She is an example of a critical case of CP where she cannot sit upright or talk. However, there are patients on the other end of the spectrum, including my dad. These individuals can control many fine motor movements, and often, they can walk with some aid. It would be easy for my dad to succumb to his circumstances, choose to be inactive, have a negative outlook on life. What is so inspiring about my father is that he did not take this road. Instead he falls into the category with other able–bodied dads: he has an unfortunate choice in calf–length white socks, ancient New Balance sneakers, and a preoccupation with road maps and directions. Here is an image of my father. My mom insisted on taking this picture of him while we were celebrating his most recent birthday. To the unsuspecting viewer, my dad is a jovial man who has just turned 29. One might say that his smile lights up the room as much as the cake. Although he was actually turning 59, the candles turn back the clock 30 years because he has a comical obsession with claiming that he is perpetually 29. I suppose the older one gets, the more denial he or she must feel. This photograph encapsulates my father's personality. • 4. My Father Is My Hero My Father, My Hero When I was four, I knew I had the greatest dad in the world. My dad always made me laugh, always took care of me when I was sick, and always found time to spend with me outside of work. My dad has been a firefighter for almost 30 years. He started in April of 1995 and has been with Tupelo Fire Department since. My dad started out as a sergeant driving the fire truck when he first began his career as a firefighter. In May of 2016, he was promoted Captain of Station 6 in Tupelo, Mississippi. In a recent interview I had with my dad, I asked him questions about his job. Some questions included what was the toughest part of his job, how it felt when he had to leave his family for work in the morning, and knowing what he knows now about firefighting now, would he go back and change his choice of career. Before this interview, I knew firefighting was a serious job, but I had no idea of some of the incidents my dad had encountered. The interview was heart–felt and could be gut wrenching, depending on the question I asked my dad. My father is my hero, not only because of the lives he has helped, but because he has been the person to always make me laugh through hard times. My dad, Captain Mark Patton, has always found humor in any situation. Even when he has to be serious in calls he is dispatched to, he finds a way to make his samaritans laugh. One question I asked my dad was, "Have you ever received any calls that have been hilarious and just Get more content on HelpWriting.net

In 1948, my grandpap enlisted into the US army, because he knew he was too young and he didn't have enough money to get married. He knew by joining the military, it would open new doors for him. In order to sign up, he changed his birth certificate. So he said bye to his girlfriend, my grandmother, and left for basic training. In 1949, my grandpap was sent to Korea. While in the military, he and my grandmother would write to each other, to keep their relationship in tact. He would serve three chaos filled years in Korea. While in Korea, he was wounded in three different places during two different occasions. The first time he was wounded by a hand–grenade, he was hit in the head, which caused some impairment in his right eye, and he was also hit in the foot, he spent three months in a hospital where his toe was amputated. Most the time when he does this he does not know the person and has never met this person. I also look upto on how caring he is about everyone.
