My School Day
Buzz–buzz. My phone sounded promptly at 7:40 a.m. signaling the start of a new day. I groaned, still drowsy from the 3 hours of sleep I got. My
previous night was just an express train of college applications and studying. A question manifested in my mind: "Should I go to school or just stay
home and finish my app?" I shrugged off my drowsiness and decided the first option. Today, after all, is Halloween and I wanted to see the
plethora of costumes decorating the school halls. I was heading towards the shower, preparing for another day of school. However, what happens
latter this day will prove that it is no ordinary day, rather, one that will go down in history in infamy. The day passed by slowly and and painfully,
with nothing out of the ordinary. By 2:50, the end bell rung and my school day was over. Usually I would head downstairs to the senior bar and hang
out before leaving, but today I decided to sprint home to finish my college application. During the train ride, I was relaxing, tapping my feet along
with the beat of the hip hop music blasting through my Skullcandy earbuds. I closed my eyes, deciding to get some rest before I got home. Little do I
know that my afternoon will be spent worrying about something else bigger than my future colleges. Once the train escapes from the confinements of
underground, I decided to turn on my data to check on my Facebook Feed. Once the LTE bar appeared, my phone flooded with the text messages,

My School Day
The school dismissal bell has just rung and I walk slowly towards the back of the building towards the athletic wing. As I walk towards the trophy
case, I am walking by memory because i am distracted by my own thoughts floating through my head of all the things I need to do before the day
ends. My ends go back to focus and I find myself with the rest of my cross country team.
Today is Tuesday, and we have a meet. Tuesday is the longest day of my week. After going to school for seven hours, I have to travel to a park to
run five kilometers in a face paced environment. I then come back nearly dusk, and finally go home where my schoolwork awaits. After being up
and going for have the day I am fine with sitting down for a few hours to complete my assignments. The whole team is now changed into their
uniforms and there is now a line of girls braiding one another's hair. We wait for the call of our coach to arrive and for the first glimpse of our bus. As
we wait many girls are proactive on one side of the table trying to complete some of their homework while the other end of the table discusses their
school day and the events that took place whether if it was seeing their crush or complaining about their spanish teacher giving them too much work. I
varied each time whether I wanted to get ahead of my work or I just wanted to talk to a friend to discharge all my worries.
"The bus is here!" a girl shouts. I close my book thankful for a break in my studies and knowing that I can't

My First School Day Of 11th Grade Essay
Red–Not So Terrifying After All
I used to be very reluctant to write essays in English because it was hard for me to express my ideas in my second language, and it is easy to make
mistakes. I was afraid of making mistakes, but the more I was afraid the more mistakes I made, forming an endless loop. Mr. Wang, my high English
school teacher, broke the loop by showing that making errors is not terrifying and by building my confidence through the process of correcting errors.
My first impression of Mr. Wang was not so good. It was the first school day of 11th grade. I remember it was a sticky summer afternoon, and the
air was heavy and sweltering. Given the other courses I was taking, only Mr. Wang's class fit in my schedule. While walking towards the
classroom, I thought I was so unfortunate because Mr. Wang was known for his strict teaching and his preference for giving low grades. After
crossing a narrow corridor, I found my classroom, a small room with no windows and no AC. After I found a seat, a man in a white shirt that had a
turned little bit yellow in front of chest came into the classroom. He stared at us through his thick, fogged glasses for a while. After combing his
greasy hair, he said, "Good afternoon everyone, my name is Wang and I will be yourwriting teacher." Then he started teaching. In that small room, I
felt I was suffocating and his voice made me drowsy. I doubted his teaching ability. "Tony," I heard. Suddenly he called my name.
"What did you do

Personal Narrative : My School Day
After an eight hour school day whizzed by, filled with laughter and joy spent with my friends, I walked towards my bus. Looking around, I could see
everything from birds gliding in the wind, their feathers glistening in the sunlight, to spiders in the bushes, working tirelessly to spin their
magnificently intricate masterpiece webs. The trees were starting to change from a vibrant green, to a light yellow, to a deep orange, and finally, to a
bloody red. The contrast of all the awe–inspiring colors will always be surreal in my eyes. Every year, I always think to myself the same question,
"Why, when such beauty exists, must it go away as quickly as it came?" I soon arrived at my bus, the chipped paint giving it a marvelous antique look as

and said, "There are even rocks shaped like Beth's head too!" At that comment she glared at me, not with anger, but mostly with a sense of
annoyance. There was a hint of humor in there too, and I knew I did not take it too far, this time, but there is bound to be other moments of my
idiocy that will become a little irritating. As I came up to my bus stop, I could not help but notice how elegantly the branches from nearby trees
had settled down to create an arch of shade for us as we left the bus. It did not stay like that for long, but that was fine, it was a very inviting
temperature outside, with a slight breeze that made sure you are comfortable. My bus stop was about half a mile to my home, but I was not
complaining about that because there were countless amazingly colored trees along the way, incredible combinations of all different colors. I can
never help myself but to just be brimming with awe as I take my, almost, daily trek to my house. As I travel along the side of my average, light grey,

My Best Day Essay : My Perfect Day
Have you ever wondered what a perfect day would be like? An everyday routine starts to get annoying and boring, especially if you don't get a day
off. At the moment, my routine is to wake up early, get ready for school, go to school, and after a long day come back home. From the time I get
home which is around two in the afternoon and by the time I go to sleep, it all consists of doing homework. Sometimes I wish I can at least take a day
off and relax, with having no worries. The idea of a perfect day for me should be a day to get rid of stress, and should be an unforgettable day.
As the sun started to come out, I knew it was time to start my day. The perfect day that I've always dreamed of was going to be today. I looked at my

In the meantime, while I was waiting for my food to get here I went to the kitchen to wash the dishes that I left in the morning. After my food got
delivered I went back into my bed and started eating my orange chicken with rice. By that time, I was already in the fourth movie, all of a sudden it
was really dark outside, but I was not scared at all, even though I was home alone. Now it was around ten at night and I had finished watching the
Halloween series. I turned my tv off and started playing really loud music on my speaker. I knew it was nighttime and the neighbors might complain,
but at the moment I didn't care about anything. I enjoy listening to depressing songs specially from Coldplay which gets me in the mood to cry. My
eyes began to close so I turned my speaker off as well as the light and I went to sleep. At last, a perfect day for me should be different from any
ordinary day, and should enjoy it like as if it was my last. I see a perfect day as not something outstanding, but more of like a lazy day. This day was
one of the best days I've ever had because it's been forever since I've taken a break. Many people might do something like this on a regular day, but for
me it was one of the days where I got to stay in bed, relax, and let all of the stress out. Days like this doesn't hurt and everyone has their own ideal day,
but for me is all about being comfortable. As long as, I have a day off

Descriptive Essay About My School Day
I woke to the sound of my mother yelling at younger brother to wake up. I knew I would be the next one she would wake up so I sat myself up in my
bed and waited for her to come in and tell me to get ready for my day; she did this every morning. Only a minute later she came in and did exactly
as I had thought. Taken aback by the fact that I was awake she said , "Hurry up, we have to leave soon," in the same kind, loving voice she always
used when talking to me. As soon as I had finished getting ready for my school day, I went back into my room and observed my appearance in my
long mirror that went vertically so that I could see my whole self. I was 5 '4.5 and had sapphire blue eyes. I put my medium brown hair that went to the

Personal Narrative Essay : A Funny Day At School
I remember one incredibly funny day from last year. It was the day I fell through the glass display case at school. Boy, I tell you that sucked so
bad. I know for a fact I'll never live it down. I'm known for being pretty accident prone so it was no surprise to people when they found out I was
the one who had left the blood stain in the hallway. I was walking back from lunch with my friend Matt, we were telling each other jokes about
dead babies. I looked over and saw my little brother, I turned to Matt and said "watch this" then I ran up to my brother and tried to do a jumping
high five. He didn't think I was trying to high five him he thought I was trying to hit him. Out of instinct he pushed me away and I fell backwards,
I landed and pivoted on the ball of my left foot. I thought I had gotten away safe and clear, I went to take a step and BAM! I had been tripped by
my own untied shoelace, betrayed by my own apparel. I fell backwards and expected to hit lockers, unfortunately it wasn't lockers or even a door. I
had crashed into the glass display case, oh the utter humility. I hit the ground and leaned up on one arm, I was fine, not a scratch. Mrs. Wright
come running up in total mom mode " Oh my God, are you alright, AHH, don't move!". " No it's okay I can get up, they are pretty big pieces, I can
crawl around them". " No sweety don't get up". I looked at her and asked " Mrs. Wright is there a piece in me?". She gulped and said "Yes". Total

My Favorite School Day Essay
It was May 15, 2007, which was my favorite school day of all time! I enjoyed it as much as a fat long–eyed kid enjoyed eating a chocolate cake. It was
my school's yearly Field Day. My class wins every year; I sometimes believe that it's because I'm on their team. I compete in all activities there are (as if
I'll die if I don't) just to assure that my class wins 1st place in everything. One year, I received this big trophy for partaking in the most field day
enterprises. It was bigger than my head, and it had three golden men. One was holding a frisbee, the other holding a basketball in the air, and the one
on top was flexing his muscles. This year's Felid Day however, was a decadence from all my other precious victories and it helped me...show more

It was extremely hot that day, but it was all going to be worth it after I win Field Day. I gave my mom a hug and went to my class area. There,
sitting on towels, were Angel, Ya'kimbria, Anthony, Brayden, and Iyana. They were my best friends since kindergarten. Me and my friends are all
competitive. So, just like me they participated in a lot of events, but I did more. It was finally time for the last event, the 200–yd. dash, which I was
playing as well. I went to the starting line with Jontavion Brown. He has always hated the sight of me winning anything, and I loved it. Once
everyone was at the starting point we got in our running positions. I turned to Jon and smirked. Then it was time... pow. It was the starting gun, I
was the first to take off. I ran like there was no tomorrow. Jontavion was trying his best to stay on m path, so I ran even faster and he did too.
Finally, we were side by side that is until it happened. Jon had collapsed to the hard ground. The coach blew his whistle and everyone teachers,
students, the principle, parents, and all came up towards Jon. "Are you ok, do we need to call an ambulance? Answer baby!", cried his mother. Jontavion
could barely speak, and before he could say yes or no Mr. Larkins was already on the phone with 911. "He's being more dramatic than a little girl who

My Day At School Kids Essay
Every day at school kids and student like me are going to school and carrying all the heavy stuff and making us stress and makes us grumpy and
then we get in trouble. This why some student are always in the office. Above a lot of things this why there is a huge number in stress because
Relax more. I once saw a bumper sticker that read, "Organized people are just too lazy to search for stuff." That's cute, but I'd rather be the "lazy"
one mentioned in the punchline. Less time spent running around means more time. Just, more time to do what I want to do, like ... Spend time
with my family. Getting clean and clear professionally and personally means I've got more time to spend with the kids and my wife. For example,
my workday ends at 2:00, just as I drive to the school bus. I know that I'll be spending the next six hours with my family. That's easy to do when I
took care of all my work stuff before then. I'm ready for a curveball. I'm sure you know how this goes: life throws a kink into the works that
interrupts your plans in a major way. Being prepared ahead of time lessens the impact. For example, I have a designated "emergency" office and
ultra–portable setup ready. That way, if my Internet connection goes down at home, or a construction crew sets up outside my window, I already
know where I'm going to go to work and what I need to bring. The overwhelming seems manageable. I never would have believed this if I hadn't
experienced it myself. I don't care if you're talking

Essay On School Days In School
Anaheim Schools have about 180 days in a school year. That is less than what other schools around the country have. This could be the problem
resulting in less student success. In high schools, there are about six periods. Each period is about forty minutes long. This is a short amount of time
for teachers to teach a lesson and help students out. It is also difficult when there are a few days of school left and students are trying to raise their
grades up. In order to increase student success at Anaheim Schools, there should be more school days and fewer vacation days. Having more
school days means that teachers can teach a lesson within two or three days without feeling pressured. It also means that students get to learn more
and ask for help. In the essay Marita's Bargain, by Malcolm Gladwell, states, "The only problem with school, for kids who aren't achieving, is that
there isn't enough of it" (8). It says how there aren't enough school days for students to be successful. He is pointing out that the school year should
have more than 180 days. In Japan, there are 243 days in a school year. Mostly everyone knows that Asians are really smart, so having a longer school
year could result in smarter students and better success. This essay talks about a school called KIPP Academy. The administration strongly believes
that KIPP Academy helps every one of their students become successful. Students have to sacrifice many things to dedicate all their time to this school.

Essay on A Day in School Life
A Day in School Life
The day begins with a high–pitched yell, "moooooooorninnnnng" from my mother. I wake up tired with a headache as I think I have a cold. I rush to
leave the house, my father complains about the lack of urgency in my movement by shouting out the time every five minutes.
There is not enough time to drink my tea; the tea burns my tongue as I gulp it down my throat, leaving a nasty taste. I ran as fast as I can towards my
bus stop. Upon arriving I realize that despite the hectic hurry of mornings I am actually early. "I really should tell my parents what time the bus comes
so my mornings can be more relaxed," I tell myself.

However, I come to realize that the squabbling penguins are not very interesting so I find somewhere comfortable and detached to sit and my mind
wanders off.
The official day starts with a tutor period. My mood is lifted as I make quite a few people laugh.
The first lesson is French. The teacher is absent so I am free to take part in a conversation with my friend concerning the weekend. The teacher next
door keeps telling us to keep quiet. For some reason the rest of my fellow students feel the need to shout and keep getting louder after each complaint.
The second period begins. The teacher ignores my enquiries as to whether we will be using the "metro " book this lesson then yells at me for not having
written the title in my book, even though she hasn't started the lesson or even written the title on the board. When I point this out to the teacher another
student already distracts her. After twenty minutes, the tiredness sets in and hinders my work effort. The headache from that morning begins to throb
and my eyes are itchy and bloodshot.
The mountain scenery contrasts against the blockish and uninspiring appearance of the school, as it leaves a light and breezy atmosphere. The sea
breeze carries a sense of freshness, which promotes an industrious work ethic. However, during the summer months the stifling heat and humidity

My School Day
It was a Friday morning, Mom just pulled into the parking lot to walk me into school. I was so ready to get the day over with because I had a
spelling test that I did not wanna take. As my mom was walking with me into school, she told me after school she would pick me up and we would
go to the mall to finish our Christmas shopping for my Dad and brother. I just loved going to the mall because they had built this brand new toy store
in the mall that was jam–packed with toys like Legos, Batman action figures, and the newest video games for my Nintendo DS.

Mrs. Roig then stopped the test and rushed to the door to lock it, cover the door window, and shut off the lights since the first grade hall was the
hall closest to the main office. Mrs. Roig then asked all of us to quietly move into the bathroom in the class. There was 16 of us in my class so for
all of us to be in her tiny bathroom was very uncomfortable. I was very scared. I thought that the crazy man could break into the room and kill all of
us at any second. I could hear everyone in the bathroom wanting to cry but having to hold it back so he wouldn't hear us if he was nearby. Suddenly I
hear footsteps coming towards our door but then passes it. I had a suspicion that it was the man then I heard more gunshots from classrooms down the
hallway and knew it was him.
About 3 minutes later was when I heard the last gunshot, it sounded like it was in the empty conference room at the very end of the hall. We stayed in
the bathroom for about another 15 minutes then a big police man enters our room and walked us out of the school. We all ran to the firehouse near the
school as fast as we can because we didn't know if the shooting was still happening or not. When I got to the fire station I started looking for my
mom or dad with tears filling in my eyes. I saw a lot of my friends and classmates on the couches watching Spongebob on the TV that one of the adults

My School Day : The First Day Of School
So the day started off as any school day would, waking up. It would probably be the worst part of going to school, especially on a Monday
morning. Besides that point, I got dressed, ate some breakfast, and went to go get on the bus. It was the first day of school, so nobody was excited
for waking up and getting on this bus. As I stepped onto the bus I smelled that familiar smell that I missed from my daily routine this summer. It
was a quiet bus ride for me, but I was excited to see my friends in homeroom. When I walked in I saw all these fun colors and a nicely decorated class
along with some students already in their seats. In homeroom, I got to see all my friends and watched the morning announcements play. Looks like I'm
gonna actually have to learn today.
Seeing as it was the first day nobody knew what class we had first, except me. I was always the one that knew the schedule and had all my
materials organized. That's why when the bell rang for the first class everyone swarmed around me. We had ELA first, that meant we stayed with
Mrs. Vann Harrell. She seemed really nice. The first thing I did was get into my binder and get my ELA folder organized based on what things we
were gonna do that year for her class. I figured all of the classes were gonna be the same, syllabus and surveys about ourselves. I sat near my friends
and listened while taking notes. I was the only one to do that because I want to have a paper for the expectations Mrs. Vann Harrell had for us. I was
excited and scared at the same time for this upcoming school year. That was because there seemed to be a lot of work coming my way, but that's
what happens when you're a magnet student. The class seemed to fly by, and when there were 5 minutes class I made sure that I put my papers
back to their correct place, I hated it when they were all over my binder. Next we had Algebra. I guess it's time to get back into the groove of
switching classes, and the crowded hallways, they were my least favorite. We did the same thing in that class too. I once again was the only person to
take notes. "Do we have to take notes?" Kelly asked me.
"No, I wanted to take notes so I know the teachers' expectations for me," I replied giving her a thumbs

My Day In My School
Have you ever felt like your brain was being split into a million pieces? Possibly a pain so intense you worried you were dying. That feeling was
the cause of my day in hell. It was the day of the English and Math entrance exams, and I was ecstatic. I take pride in my intelligence and was ready
to put my knowledge to the test. I had gotten a late start to the day, so I had about 30 minutes to get ready before I had to leave for GCIT. I take
forever to get myself ready, so I used every second I could. I usually don't eat breakfast, so I didn't think twice about leaving the house without any
food or water in my system. My dad drove me to the school, and I checked in at the front desk, getting my group number. I waited in the 400 wing
cafeteria for about 20 minutes. Eventually, they called my section, and a teacher led us to our testing room, which was in the Allied hallway. When
I walked in, I noticed the room was a tad too hot for summer weather. I shook it off though, ready to get started with testing. We waited for 10
minutes so everyone could get situated, and the heat had finally gotten to me. I could feel a headache coming on, and I immediately knew I was
going to have trouble taking this test. We were logging into the testing system when I noticed patches of my vision were gone. It took me extremely
too long to type in my name because some keys on my keyboard had vanished. This has happened to me before, so I shook it off, determined to

My First Day Of School Essay
The first day of school is nerve–wracking for most people, for me, the first day was especially terrifying. The first day of a college class is probably
more crazy than all others. My mom and younger sister, Michaela, were busy taking pictures as I attempted to run out of the door. After being
homeschooled for the last six years, I knew it would be a much different experience. I had been in my room alone doing school; I was content with
where I was. The morning of the first day of class, I was so busy that I didn't have time to be nervous. However, as I ran out the door, my heart rate
elevated to a pace of 138 bpm. I felt older, nervous, excited, and anxious as I left for Pellissippi. Although it had been six years since I had been in a
classroom, I realized that all of my worry was for nothing once I walked into Ms. Brown's class.
The summer after I completed the 6th grade, my parents decided to pull me out of my Baptist, private school and homeschool me. I, like most
kids, was not thrilled with the decision, but being only 11 years old, I had no say in the matter. Despite my initial reservations, being
homeschooled was a great experience for me, but I began to get bored. I missed seeing people every day. It was just me and my family. I was ready
for a new experience, something big, and college was exactly what I was looking for. It was Sunday night, and there was a high probability that class
would be cancelled. I prayed that that wouldn't happen, however, it did. The

Essay about school days
Now that I am coming to the end of high school and to the beginning of my college education, it scares me to death. Going to school has been one of
my biggest priorities and the most routine part of my life for the past thirteen years. I have many more years to get through, but the years that I spent in
elementary school and junior high were the most memorable. I have learned so much since then, it has made me a different person today. I have so
many memories from my earlier years in school. I especially remember how much easier it was back then and how much harder it is becoming now as
I get older.

Especially since I would always get in trouble for it. For some reason I do not remember much about first grade. I do not know if it was because it was
just a boring year of school or because I just did not like the teacher. One thing I do remember about first grade is that I won the spelling bee. That was
a big accomplishment for me in first grade. I think the challenge of first grade was the whole reading concept. Learning how to read is very difficult
for a little six year old. I was actually very good at reading, which made me enjoy first grade a little more. I am just glad that it is over with.
When I was in second grade it was a big year for me. The main reason is because I made my First Holy Communion. My family is very religious and
they were very proud of me for making my Communion. My teacher in second grade was Mrs. Lignowski. She was an old women, but she was
very nice. The main subject in second grade was of course religion, so it was not very exciting was a child, but it means a lot in my life now. We
would take many trips across the street to the church and practice what we would do in a mass. I remember being absolutely terrified to make a
confession with Father Hanley. That was part of making your first Communion so we had to do it. I of course did not confess my sins face–to–face, so
I went in the confessional booth. It is done and over with now, it still kind of makes me nervous if I were to do it to this day.

My Schedule During The Week Essay
Well, my schedule during the week is usually focused at school or at home. My weeks are never smooth and I usually have a lot of homework because
I am taking 18 units. I specifically handle all my day to day things by the first study and do my homework before I go play a video game, sleep, or eat.
My days feel very structured and I usually tried to prepare and do all my homework at least 1 week ahead. That way I have a bit more time to study for
a test. Most of the time, I get a homework assignment out of nowhere, which always forces me to go with the flow. I organize my day to day by a to
do list, a pile, and by section. I always eat breakfast during 8:00 A.M. to 9 A.M., I eat lunch at 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. and I would eat my dinner usually at
...show more content...
Those classes are usually the longest time–consuming in my week because they are about 3 hours long. On the Saturday and Sunday, most of my
time is to study for the exam or do homework because my class gives me a huge amount of homework. I usually play games for about 30 mins on
randomly on my schedule or when I have a random free time. I sleep about 4 to 5 hours a day in the week, but on the weekend, I sleep about 7 to 9
hours.
There are three examples from the text that I plan to use in my future or now to help me combat my time management in the day to day task. First is
to know how much time I am using for studying and increasing that time if needed. Second is to use a system to plan and set priorities. Lastly, it for
me to stay motivated to follow my plan and avoid procrastination. The three strategies I would use in the textbook would do the most important study
first, use a calendar planner and daily to–do list, and do the easier task first. I choose those three strategies for my time management because time is
the key to be successful. The most important to study first would help me seek a question that I might not know; therefore, I could ask for assistance
if I get stuck in my study. For me to use a calendar planner would help me schedule my time more efficiently. For me to use a daily to–do list will help
me knock off what I need to accomplish by the end of my day. Doing the easier task first is important because it

My School Day

  • 1. My School Day Buzz–buzz. My phone sounded promptly at 7:40 a.m. signaling the start of a new day. I groaned, still drowsy from the 3 hours of sleep I got. My previous night was just an express train of college applications and studying. A question manifested in my mind: "Should I go to school or just stay home and finish my app?" I shrugged off my drowsiness and decided the first option. Today, after all, is Halloween and I wanted to see the plethora of costumes decorating the school halls. I was heading towards the shower, preparing for another day of school. However, what happens latter this day will prove that it is no ordinary day, rather, one that will go down in history in infamy. The day passed by slowly and and painfully, with nothing out of the ordinary. By 2:50, the end bell rung and my school day was over. Usually I would head downstairs to the senior bar and hang out before leaving, but today I decided to sprint home to finish my college application. During the train ride, I was relaxing, tapping my feet along with the beat of the hip hop music blasting through my Skullcandy earbuds. I closed my eyes, deciding to get some rest before I got home. Little do I know that my afternoon will be spent worrying about something else bigger than my future colleges. Once the train escapes from the confinements of underground, I decided to turn on my data to check on my Facebook Feed. Once the LTE bar appeared, my phone flooded with the text messages, Facebook messages, Facebook Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My School Day The school dismissal bell has just rung and I walk slowly towards the back of the building towards the athletic wing. As I walk towards the trophy case, I am walking by memory because i am distracted by my own thoughts floating through my head of all the things I need to do before the day ends. My ends go back to focus and I find myself with the rest of my cross country team. Today is Tuesday, and we have a meet. Tuesday is the longest day of my week. After going to school for seven hours, I have to travel to a park to run five kilometers in a face paced environment. I then come back nearly dusk, and finally go home where my schoolwork awaits. After being up and going for have the day I am fine with sitting down for a few hours to complete my assignments. The whole team is now changed into their uniforms and there is now a line of girls braiding one another's hair. We wait for the call of our coach to arrive and for the first glimpse of our bus. As we wait many girls are proactive on one side of the table trying to complete some of their homework while the other end of the table discusses their school day and the events that took place whether if it was seeing their crush or complaining about their spanish teacher giving them too much work. I varied each time whether I wanted to get ahead of my work or I just wanted to talk to a friend to discharge all my worries. "The bus is here!" a girl shouts. • 3. My First School Day Of 11th Grade Essay Red–Not So Terrifying After All I used to be very reluctant to write essays in English because it was hard for me to express my ideas in my second language, and it is easy to make mistakes. I was afraid of making mistakes, but the more I was afraid the more mistakes I made, forming an endless loop. Mr. Wang, my high English school teacher, broke the loop by showing that making errors is not terrifying and by building my confidence through the process of correcting errors. My first impression of Mr. Wang was not so good. It was the first school day of 11th grade. I remember it was a sticky summer afternoon, and the air was heavy and sweltering. Given the other courses I was taking, only Mr. Wang's class fit in my schedule. While walking towards the classroom, I thought I was so unfortunate because Mr. Wang was known for his strict teaching and his preference for giving low grades. After crossing a narrow corridor, I found my classroom, a small room with no windows and no AC. After I found a seat, a man in a white shirt that had a turned little bit yellow in front of chest came into the classroom. He stared at us through his thick, fogged glasses for a while. After combing his greasy hair, he said, "Good afternoon everyone, my name is Wang and I will be yourwriting teacher." Then he started teaching. In that small room, I felt I was suffocating and his voice made me drowsy. I doubted his teaching ability. "Tony," I heard. Suddenly he called my name. • 4. Personal Narrative : My School Day After an eight hour school day whizzed by, filled with laughter and joy spent with my friends, I walked towards my bus. Looking around, I could see everything from birds gliding in the wind, their feathers glistening in the sunlight, to spiders in the bushes, working tirelessly to spin their magnificently intricate masterpiece webs. The trees were starting to change from a vibrant green, to a light yellow, to a deep orange, and finally, to a bloody red. The contrast of all the awe–inspiring colors will always be surreal in my eyes. Every year, I always think to myself the same question, "Why, when such beauty exists, must it go away as quickly as it came?" I soon arrived at my bus, the chipped paint giving it a marvelous antique look as ...show more content... "There's probably a universe where heads are shaped like rocks too!" Thomas proclaimed, a little smile on the corner of his mouth. I turned to Beth, obviously knowing that she was tired of hearing about infinite universes, almost as much as she was tired about hearing what color a bus is, and said, "There are even rocks shaped like Beth's head too!" At that comment she glared at me, not with anger, but mostly with a sense of annoyance. There was a hint of humor in there too, and I knew I did not take it too far, this time, but there is bound to be other moments of my idiocy that will become a little irritating. As I came up to my bus stop, I could not help but notice how elegantly the branches from nearby trees had settled down to create an arch of shade for us as we left the bus. It did not stay like that for long, but that was fine, it was a very inviting temperature outside, with a slight breeze that made sure you are comfortable. My bus stop was about half a mile to my home, but I was not complaining about that because there were countless amazingly colored trees along the way, incredible combinations of all different colors. I can never help myself but to just be brimming with awe as I take my, almost, daily trek to my house. • 5. My Best Day Essay : My Perfect Day Have you ever wondered what a perfect day would be like? An everyday routine starts to get annoying and boring, especially if you don't get a day off. At the moment, my routine is to wake up early, get ready for school, go to school, and after a long day come back home. From the time I get home which is around two in the afternoon and by the time I go to sleep, it all consists of doing homework. Sometimes I wish I can at least take a day off and relax, with having no worries. The idea of a perfect day for me should be a day to get rid of stress, and should be an unforgettable day. As the sun started to come out, I knew it was time to start my day. The perfect day that I've always dreamed of was going to be today. I looked at my ...show more content... In the meantime, while I was waiting for my food to get here I went to the kitchen to wash the dishes that I left in the morning. After my food got delivered I went back into my bed and started eating my orange chicken with rice. By that time, I was already in the fourth movie, all of a sudden it was really dark outside, but I was not scared at all, even though I was home alone. Now it was around ten at night and I had finished watching the Halloween series. I turned my tv off and started playing really loud music on my speaker. I knew it was nighttime and the neighbors might complain, but at the moment I didn't care about anything. I enjoy listening to depressing songs specially from Coldplay which gets me in the mood to cry. My eyes began to close so I turned my speaker off as well as the light and I went to sleep. At last, a perfect day for me should be different from any ordinary day, and should enjoy it like as if it was my last. I see a perfect day as not something outstanding, but more of like a lazy day. This day was one of the best days I've ever had because it's been forever since I've taken a break. Many people might do something like this on a regular day, but for me it was one of the days where I got to stay in bed, relax, and let all of the stress out. Days like this doesn't hurt and everyone has their own ideal day, but for me is all about being comfortable. As long as, I have a day off Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Descriptive Essay About My School Day I woke to the sound of my mother yelling at younger brother to wake up. I knew I would be the next one she would wake up so I sat myself up in my bed and waited for her to come in and tell me to get ready for my day; she did this every morning. Only a minute later she came in and did exactly as I had thought. Taken aback by the fact that I was awake she said , "Hurry up, we have to leave soon," in the same kind, loving voice she always used when talking to me. As soon as I had finished getting ready for my school day, I went back into my room and observed my appearance in my long mirror that went vertically so that I could see my whole self. I was 5 '4.5 and had sapphire blue eyes. I put my medium brown hair that went to the ...show more content... "Oh, before I forget," my mom paused to get something out of her purse, "I got you two these," She held up two keys, "They 're keys for the house, so that if I 'm ever not home by the time you guys are, you won 't have to wait for me to get there," She glanced back at as to make sure I understood, which I did; to acknowledge that I understood, I nodded. I grabbed one of the keys out of her hand and placed it in the front pocket of my backpack, which was already in the car when I got in; I had kept it in car overnight so that didn 't forget it. We arrived at the school after thirty minutes of silence. As James and I left the car I saw my two best friends , Zephyr Balch and Raven Hence. Raven was in all of my classes and in every one I sat next to her, and Zephyr was in my homeroom and last period. I approached them in the middle of their conversation about our chemistry homework. "Wait, so if you mix ammonia and bleach you get a lethal gas?!" Zephyr exclaimed. I sighed. "How did you not know that already?" He smiled sheepishly and said, "Uh, I don 't know." At his reaction I laughed and said, "You really need to pay attention in class." He was 6" tall, therefore he was considerably taller than me. He had an average build with chocolate brown eyes. His dirty blonde hair was always tousled and never neat. He almost always wore a white loose–fitted long–sleeved T–shirt with worn denim jeans. "I couldn 't Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Personal Narrative Essay : A Funny Day At School I remember one incredibly funny day from last year. It was the day I fell through the glass display case at school. Boy, I tell you that sucked so bad. I know for a fact I'll never live it down. I'm known for being pretty accident prone so it was no surprise to people when they found out I was the one who had left the blood stain in the hallway. I was walking back from lunch with my friend Matt, we were telling each other jokes about dead babies. I looked over and saw my little brother, I turned to Matt and said "watch this" then I ran up to my brother and tried to do a jumping high five. He didn't think I was trying to high five him he thought I was trying to hit him. Out of instinct he pushed me away and I fell backwards, I landed and pivoted on the ball of my left foot. I thought I had gotten away safe and clear, I went to take a step and BAM! I had been tripped by my own untied shoelace, betrayed by my own apparel. I fell backwards and expected to hit lockers, unfortunately it wasn't lockers or even a door. I had crashed into the glass display case, oh the utter humility. I hit the ground and leaned up on one arm, I was fine, not a scratch. Mrs. Wright come running up in total mom mode " Oh my God, are you alright, AHH, don't move!". " No it's okay I can get up, they are pretty big pieces, I can crawl around them". " No sweety don't get up". I looked at her and asked " Mrs. Wright is there a piece in me?". She gulped and said "Yes". Total internal breakdown but I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. My Favorite School Day Essay It was May 15, 2007, which was my favorite school day of all time! I enjoyed it as much as a fat long–eyed kid enjoyed eating a chocolate cake. It was my school's yearly Field Day. My class wins every year; I sometimes believe that it's because I'm on their team. I compete in all activities there are (as if I'll die if I don't) just to assure that my class wins 1st place in everything. One year, I received this big trophy for partaking in the most field day enterprises. It was bigger than my head, and it had three golden men. One was holding a frisbee, the other holding a basketball in the air, and the one on top was flexing his muscles. This year's Felid Day however, was a decadence from all my other precious victories and it helped me...show more content... It was extremely hot that day, but it was all going to be worth it after I win Field Day. I gave my mom a hug and went to my class area. There, sitting on towels, were Angel, Ya'kimbria, Anthony, Brayden, and Iyana. They were my best friends since kindergarten. Me and my friends are all competitive. So, just like me they participated in a lot of events, but I did more. It was finally time for the last event, the 200–yd. dash, which I was playing as well. I went to the starting line with Jontavion Brown. He has always hated the sight of me winning anything, and I loved it. Once everyone was at the starting point we got in our running positions. I turned to Jon and smirked. Then it was time... pow. It was the starting gun, I was the first to take off. I ran like there was no tomorrow. Jontavion was trying his best to stay on m path, so I ran even faster and he did too. Finally, we were side by side that is until it happened. Jon had collapsed to the hard ground. The coach blew his whistle and everyone teachers, students, the principle, parents, and all came up towards Jon. "Are you ok, do we need to call an ambulance? Answer baby!", cried his mother. Jontavion could barely speak, and before he could say yes or no Mr. Larkins was already on the phone with 911. "He's being more dramatic than a little girl who Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. My Day At School Kids Essay Every day at school kids and student like me are going to school and carrying all the heavy stuff and making us stress and makes us grumpy and then we get in trouble. This why some student are always in the office. Above a lot of things this why there is a huge number in stress because Relax more. I once saw a bumper sticker that read, "Organized people are just too lazy to search for stuff." That's cute, but I'd rather be the "lazy" one mentioned in the punchline. Less time spent running around means more time. Just, more time to do what I want to do, like ... Spend time with my family. Getting clean and clear professionally and personally means I've got more time to spend with the kids and my wife. For example, my workday ends at 2:00, just as I drive to the school bus. I know that I'll be spending the next six hours with my family. That's easy to do when I took care of all my work stuff before then. I'm ready for a curveball. I'm sure you know how this goes: life throws a kink into the works that interrupts your plans in a major way. Being prepared ahead of time lessens the impact. For example, I have a designated "emergency" office and ultra–portable setup ready. That way, if my Internet connection goes down at home, or a construction crew sets up outside my window, I already know where I'm going to go to work and what I need to bring. The overwhelming seems manageable. I never would have believed this if I hadn't experienced it myself. I don't care if you're talking Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Essay On School Days In School Anaheim Schools have about 180 days in a school year. That is less than what other schools around the country have. This could be the problem resulting in less student success. In high schools, there are about six periods. Each period is about forty minutes long. This is a short amount of time for teachers to teach a lesson and help students out. It is also difficult when there are a few days of school left and students are trying to raise their grades up. In order to increase student success at Anaheim Schools, there should be more school days and fewer vacation days. Having more school days means that teachers can teach a lesson within two or three days without feeling pressured. It also means that students get to learn more and ask for help. In the essay Marita's Bargain, by Malcolm Gladwell, states, "The only problem with school, for kids who aren't achieving, is that there isn't enough of it" (8). It says how there aren't enough school days for students to be successful. He is pointing out that the school year should have more than 180 days. In Japan, there are 243 days in a school year. Mostly everyone knows that Asians are really smart, so having a longer school year could result in smarter students and better success. This essay talks about a school called KIPP Academy. The administration strongly believes that KIPP Academy helps every one of their students become successful. Students have to sacrifice many things to dedicate all their time to this school. • 11. Descriptive Essay About My School Day I woke up to the sound of my mother yelling at younger brother to wake up. I grabbed one of the keys out of her hand and placed it in the front pocket of my backpack which was already in the car when I got in; I had kept it in car overnight so that didn 't forget it. I sighed. "How did you not know that already?" He smiled sheepishly and said, "Uh, I don 't know." At his reaction i laughed and said, "You really need to pay attention in class." He blushed just enough so that I could tell, so I looked down at the pavement and smiled, pretending not to see. • 12. Essay on A Day in School Life A Day in School Life The day begins with a high–pitched yell, "moooooooorninnnnng" from my mother. I wake up tired with a headache as I think I have a cold. I rush to leave the house, my father complains about the lack of urgency in my movement by shouting out the time every five minutes. There is not enough time to drink my tea; the tea burns my tongue as I gulp it down my throat, leaving a nasty taste. I ran as fast as I can towards my bus stop. Upon arriving I realize that despite the hectic hurry of mornings I am actually early. "I really should tell my parents what time the bus comes so my mornings can be more relaxed," I tell myself. The official day starts with a tutor period. My mood is lifted as I make quite a few people laugh. The first lesson is French. The teacher is absent so I am free to take part in a conversation with my friend concerning the weekend. The teacher next door keeps telling us to keep quiet. For some reason the rest of my fellow students feel the need to shout and keep getting louder after each complaint. The second period begins. The teacher ignores my enquiries as to whether we will be using the "metro " book this lesson then yells at me for not having written the title in my book, even though she hasn't started the lesson or even written the title on the board. When I point this out to the teacher another student already distracts her. After twenty minutes, the tiredness sets in and hinders my work effort. The headache from that morning begins to throb and my eyes are itchy and bloodshot. The mountain scenery contrasts against the blockish and uninspiring appearance of the school, as it leaves a light and breezy atmosphere. The sea breeze carries a sense of freshness, which promotes an industrious work ethic. However, during the summer months the stifling heat and humidity

  • 14. My School Day It was a Friday morning, Mom just pulled into the parking lot to walk me into school. I was so ready to get the day over with because I had a spelling test that I did not wanna take. As my mom was walking with me into school, she told me after school she would pick me up and we would go to the mall to finish our Christmas shopping for my Dad and brother. I just loved going to the mall because they had built this brand new toy store in the mall that was jam–packed with toys like Legos, Batman action figures, and the newest video games for my Nintendo DS. I walked into the cafeteria where I was supposed to meet my class in the mornings at and saw my best friend Jack. Mrs. Roig then stopped the test and rushed to the door to lock it, cover the door window, and shut off the lights since the first grade hall was the hall closest to the main office. Mrs. Roig then asked all of us to quietly move into the bathroom in the class. There was 16 of us in my class so for all of us to be in her tiny bathroom was very uncomfortable. I was very scared. I thought that the crazy man could break into the room and kill all of us at any second. I could hear everyone in the bathroom wanting to cry but having to hold it back so he wouldn't hear us if he was nearby. Suddenly I hear footsteps coming towards our door but then passes it. I had a suspicion that it was the man then I heard more gunshots from classrooms down the hallway and knew it was him. About 3 minutes later was when I heard the last gunshot, it sounded like it was in the empty conference room at the very end of the hall. We stayed in the bathroom for about another 15 minutes then a big police man enters our room and walked us out of the school. We all ran to the firehouse near the school as fast as we can because we didn't know if the shooting was still happening or not. When I got to the fire station I started looking for my mom or dad with tears filling in my eyes. • 15. My School Day : The First Day Of School So the day started off as any school day would, waking up. It would probably be the worst part of going to school, especially on a Monday morning. Besides that point, I got dressed, ate some breakfast, and went to go get on the bus. It was the first day of school, so nobody was excited for waking up and getting on this bus. As I stepped onto the bus I smelled that familiar smell that I missed from my daily routine this summer. It was a quiet bus ride for me, but I was excited to see my friends in homeroom. When I walked in I saw all these fun colors and a nicely decorated class along with some students already in their seats. In homeroom, I got to see all my friends and watched the morning announcements play. Looks like I'm gonna actually have to learn today. Seeing as it was the first day nobody knew what class we had first, except me. I was always the one that knew the schedule and had all my materials organized. That's why when the bell rang for the first class everyone swarmed around me. We had ELA first, that meant we stayed with Mrs. Vann Harrell. She seemed really nice. The first thing I did was get into my binder and get my ELA folder organized based on what things we were gonna do that year for her class. I figured all of the classes were gonna be the same, syllabus and surveys about ourselves. I sat near my friends and listened while taking notes. I was the only one to do that because I want to have a paper for the expectations Mrs. Vann Harrell had for us. I was excited and scared at the same time for this upcoming school year. That was because there seemed to be a lot of work coming my way, but that's what happens when you're a magnet student. The class seemed to fly by, and when there were 5 minutes class I made sure that I put my papers back to their correct place, I hated it when they were all over my binder. Next we had Algebra. I guess it's time to get back into the groove of switching classes, and the crowded hallways, they were my least favorite. We did the same thing in that class too. I once again was the only person to take notes. "Do we have to take notes?" Kelly asked me. "No, I wanted to take notes so I know the teachers' expectations for me," I replied giving her a thumbs Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Descriptive Essay About School Day As an eight hour school day, filled with laughter and joy as I spent time with my friends, whizzed by, I walked towards my bus. Looking around I could see everything from birds gliding in the wind, their feathers glistening in the sunlight, to spiders in the bushes, working tirelessly to spin their magnificently intricate masterpiece of a web. The trees are starting to change from a vibrant green, to a light yellow, to a deep orange, and finally, to a bloody red. The contrast of all the awe–inspiring colors will always be surreal in my eyes. Thomas proclaimed, a little smile on the corner of his mouth. I turned to Beth, Obviously know that she was tired of hearing about infinite universes, almost as much as she was tired about hearing what color a bus is, and said, "There are even rocks shaped like Beth's head too!" At that comment she glared at me, not with anger, but mostly with a sense of annoyance, yet there was a hint of humor in there, and I knew I did not take it too far, this time, but there is bound to be other moments of my idiocy that will get a little irritating. As we came up to mine and Thomas's bus stop, I could not help but notice how elegantly the branches from nearby trees had drooped down to create shade for us as we left the bus. It did not stay like that for long, but that was fine, it was a very inviting temperature outside, with a slight breeze that made sure you did not get uncomfortable. From my bus stop, it was about half a mile to my home, but I do not complain about that because there are so many amazingly colored trees along the way, so many beautiful combinations of all different colors, I can never help myself but to just be brimming with awe as I take my, almost, daily trek to my house. • 17. My Day In My School Have you ever felt like your brain was being split into a million pieces? Possibly a pain so intense you worried you were dying. That feeling was the cause of my day in hell. It was the day of the English and Math entrance exams, and I was ecstatic. I take pride in my intelligence and was ready to put my knowledge to the test. I had gotten a late start to the day, so I had about 30 minutes to get ready before I had to leave for GCIT. I take forever to get myself ready, so I used every second I could. I usually don't eat breakfast, so I didn't think twice about leaving the house without any food or water in my system. My dad drove me to the school, and I checked in at the front desk, getting my group number. I waited in the 400 wing cafeteria for about 20 minutes. Eventually, they called my section, and a teacher led us to our testing room, which was in the Allied hallway. When I walked in, I noticed the room was a tad too hot for summer weather. I shook it off though, ready to get started with testing. We waited for 10 minutes so everyone could get situated, and the heat had finally gotten to me. I could feel a headache coming on, and I immediately knew I was going to have trouble taking this test. We were logging into the testing system when I noticed patches of my vision were gone. It took me extremely too long to type in my name because some keys on my keyboard had vanished. This has happened to me before, so I shook it off, determined to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. My First Day Of School Essay The first day of school is nerve–wracking for most people, for me, the first day was especially terrifying. The first day of a college class is probably more crazy than all others. My mom and younger sister, Michaela, were busy taking pictures as I attempted to run out of the door. After being homeschooled for the last six years, I knew it would be a much different experience. I had been in my room alone doing school; I was content with where I was. The morning of the first day of class, I was so busy that I didn't have time to be nervous. However, as I ran out the door, my heart rate elevated to a pace of 138 bpm. I felt older, nervous, excited, and anxious as I left for Pellissippi. Although it had been six years since I had been in a classroom, I realized that all of my worry was for nothing once I walked into Ms. Brown's class. The summer after I completed the 6th grade, my parents decided to pull me out of my Baptist, private school and homeschool me. I, like most kids, was not thrilled with the decision, but being only 11 years old, I had no say in the matter. Despite my initial reservations, being homeschooled was a great experience for me, but I began to get bored. I missed seeing people every day. It was just me and my family. I was ready for a new experience, something big, and college was exactly what I was looking for. It was Sunday night, and there was a high probability that class would be cancelled. I prayed that that wouldn't happen, however, it did. The Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. Essay about school days Now that I am coming to the end of high school and to the beginning of my college education, it scares me to death. Going to school has been one of my biggest priorities and the most routine part of my life for the past thirteen years. I have many more years to get through, but the years that I spent in elementary school and junior high were the most memorable. I have learned so much since then, it has made me a different person today. I have so many memories from my earlier years in school. I especially remember how much easier it was back then and how much harder it is becoming now as I get older. For some reason I do not remember much about first grade. I do not know if it was because it was just a boring year of school or because I just did not like the teacher. One thing I do remember about first grade is that I won the spelling bee. That was a big accomplishment for me in first grade. I think the challenge of first grade was the whole reading concept. Learning how to read is very difficult for a little six year old. I was actually very good at reading, which made me enjoy first grade a little more. I am just glad that it is over with. When I was in second grade it was a big year for me. The main reason is because I made my First Holy Communion. My family is very religious and they were very proud of me for making my Communion. My teacher in second grade was Mrs. Lignowski. She was an old women, but she was very nice. The main subject in second grade was of course religion, so it was not very exciting was a child, but it means a lot in my life now. We would take many trips across the street to the church and practice what we would do in a mass. I remember being absolutely terrified to make a confession with Father Hanley. That was part of making your first Communion so we had to do it. I of course did not confess my sins face–to–face, so I went in the confessional booth. It is done and over with now, it still kind of makes me nervous if I were to do it to this day. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 20. My Schedule During The Week Essay Well, my schedule during the week is usually focused at school or at home. My weeks are never smooth and I usually have a lot of homework because I am taking 18 units. I specifically handle all my day to day things by the first study and do my homework before I go play a video game, sleep, or eat. My days feel very structured and I usually tried to prepare and do all my homework at least 1 week ahead. That way I have a bit more time to study for a test. Most of the time, I get a homework assignment out of nowhere, which always forces me to go with the flow. I organize my day to day by a to do list, a pile, and by section. On the Saturday and Sunday, most of my time is to study for the exam or do homework because my class gives me a huge amount of homework. I usually play games for about 30 mins on randomly on my schedule or when I have a random free time. I sleep about 4 to 5 hours a day in the week, but on the weekend, I sleep about 7 to 9 hours. There are three examples from the text that I plan to use in my future or now to help me combat my time management in the day to day task. First is to know how much time I am using for studying and increasing that time if needed. Second is to use a system to plan and set priorities. Lastly, it for me to stay motivated to follow my plan and avoid procrastination. The three strategies I would use in the textbook would do the most important study first, use a calendar planner and daily to–do list, and do the easier task first. I choose those three strategies for my time management because time is the key to be successful. The most important to study first would help me seek a question that I might not know; therefore, I could ask for assistance if I get stuck in my study. For me to use a calendar planner would help me schedule my time more efficiently. For me to use a daily to–do list will help me knock off what I need to accomplish by the end of my day.
