Group trading term benefits are passed straight to
franchisees, who buy direct from approved suppliers.
All franchisees involved in discussions on suppliers by
way of group meetings.

26. In-House Training
Training is vital. Training days are provided for sales
techniques and drawing skills and each year all Designers
are encouraged to attend an annual conference for further
brain-storming and general sharing of ideas around the
company. Always followed by the Christmas party too!

START-UP
We will help find a suitable location in an agreed trading area.
We will design your showroom and help you choose product, producing
detailed architectural drawings, lighting plans and individual displays.
We will mark-out the showroom and construct the Ripples columns.
We will negotiate special buying terms for all display product.
We will train you – at our offices in Bath.
We will help you recruit staff.
We will fund the launch of your showroom to the local press.
We provide a detailed Operations Manual.
We will work in your showroom.
30. Our Commitment To You
ON-GOING
We will visit your showroom regularly for in-depth meetings.
You will attend the group summer and winter conferences.
We will hold regular training sessions for your and your team on all aspects of
running your business.
You will attend regular Ripples group meetings to discuss all aspects of the
business, such as advertising, product buying and installation.
We will provide you with an on-going help desk support through our head office.
We will promote your business through our extensive national marketing,
including PR, advertising and web site.
We will provide standard forms and stationery & point of sale material at specially
negotiated rates.
We will provide you with management reports and sales trends.
We will forward all brochure enquiries received via the web site for your area.
31. Your Commitment To Us
We need your commitment to your Ripples showroom.
We need your commitment to providing a detailed business plan for your
showroom.
We need your total commitment to the total package of Ripples training,
systems, display service and administration so that the Ripples customer
promise is supported and enhanced at every showroom.
We need your commitment in participating in all Ripples promotions and
local advertising campaigns.
We need your commitment to the training provided by the company and
the high standards that are associated with the Ripples name.
We need your commitment to providing all relevant information and
statistics as specified in the Operations Manual.
We need your agreement and adherence to the established systems and
methods that we have developed.
32. Finance
Initial Franchise Fee £40,000.
On-going Management Service Charge 5%.
Ripples
Limited commit to spending 10% of this
income on marketing activities.
Advertising Levy 1%. Capped at £5k per
annum.
Contract term minimum 5 years.
