Solution Design
This solution is a result of design/engineering interaction and collaboration
with our customer.

Flexibility in product creation:
 o Breakouts were engineered to their connecting devices
 o Breakouts were engineered to their cable density requirements
 o Breakouts were engineered per customer requirements

We calculated the lengths of all legs and engineered a SwitchPack to Jack
harnesses to feature out their switch.

We added extended depth vertical cable managers to accommodate their high
density requirements.

The next slide shows a scaled down version of an elevation drawing we
supplied to the customer…

Solution Delivery
Assemblies were delivered using intelligent part numbering, labeling and
packaging.

Source/Destination Labels are on each end of the harnesses providing ease of
installation and traceability.

Labels were are also placed on the box, allowing boxes to be logistically delivered
to each site.

An Installation Map was designed to their requirements that illustrated port to
port designations to simplify the installation.

IDF Cleanup Solution Design

  • 1. • This is a Brief Example of a solution we developed for a customer’s IDF cleanup. • This solution represents phase one of a flagship install that will be replicated to multiple locations. Specific information regarding our customer and supplied documents has been removed for confidentiality.

Flexibility in product creation: o Breakouts were engineered to their connecting devices o Breakouts were engineered to their cable density requirements o Breakouts were engineered per customer requirements We calculated the lengths of all legs and engineered a SwitchPack to Jack harnesses to feature out their switch.   • 5. Solution Delivery Assemblies were delivered using intelligent part numbering, labeling and packaging. Source/Destination Labels are on each end of the harnesses providing ease of installation and traceability. Labels were are also placed on the box, allowing boxes to be logistically delivered to each site.
