Pamela Denton has experience creating new partnerships and sales opportunities for Graybar Electric. She has engineered solutions for projects, value engineered proposals to increase profits, and developed relationships with manufacturers and engineering firms. Notable achievements include a $310,000 sale with double digit profit margins for a motor control center and over $120,000 in quick shipment sales. She also created templates and approaches to showcase Graybar's full capabilities.

RECENT GRAYBAR ELECTRIC EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Created new Graybar / ASCO relationship resulting in net add sales of transfer switches and control
products on both Commercial/Contractor project and Industrial Projects.
Utilized Square D / Graybar relationship with MCM Engineering II to develop a PDC house layout based
upon an MCC / Panel & Transformer design that I engineered based upon Noble Energy's compressed gas
siphoning site requirements.
Created a Graybar Proposal Template that highlights Graybar's Value Proposition and Solution offering
beyond the one-line products.
Value engineered multiple Square D projects to maximize AND increase GMR and GM dollars.
Engineered entire solution for a LV Motor Control Center from a Load List for Monarch Oil with the
engineers at Baumberger & Associates. This service and capability allowed for me to engineer power
requirements for 125 Compressor Stations. My capabilities directly resulted in over $310,000 with
double digit GMR on both projects. This highlighted Graybar's service capabilities and we are now
helping assist in bill of material development for wire, VFD cable as well as cable tray. These commodity
orders will have a GMR above market rate due to a team approach with this engineer.
Engineered an entire quick shipment MCC from a load list without any FLA, oneline or specifications for
Noble Energy. Resulted in over $120,000 sale.
Enhanced and strengthened the relationship with Northern Electric and their Industrial team and PDC
sales team. This was accomplished by using the full proposal and Graybar Service Platform approach.
Leveraged Graybar management for input and market positioning.
Working with Tom Campbell, Mike Littlefield and Kent Davenport to develop a Graybar product and
services solution for utility grade and 69kV opportunities.
Attend training for manufacturers other than Square D to incorporate their products and services
offering within my proposals so that all potential sales at that project site are addressed.
Called on Zap Engineering resulting in a $50K+ ASCO services order by working directly with ASCO and
the engineer to redesign their oneline to provide the best solution for a reduced cost for Outrigger
Energy. Also leveraged the RM Reps / Cooper relationship to have Zap Engineering revise their standard
padmount transformer oil specification to favor Cooper as well as comply with current market
conditions.
Developed relationships with Mark IV Engineering for engineering and field services requirements for
project requirements and long term customers.
Provide input for terms and conditions negotiations and give customer and supplier perspectives.
2. Developed a personal relationship with the representative firm Power Management Systems resulting in
net add UPS sales to projects. Also coached the quotes team on how to engage and sell UPS units shown
on the oneline.
Created a new approach to metering sales by consulting with the Emon-Dmon representative Mountain
and Plains Electrical Sales. This resulted in a complete package including metering rather than Square d
gear only.
Leveraged my knowledge of the padmount transformer market place pricing and expectations, to gain a
competitive advantage when quoting Cooper Transformers AND Utility Grade Service Entrance
Equipment. Dan Foster with RM Reps has agreed to support my product requirements that are outside of
the typical plans and specifications projects. These are net sales add that Graybar was not capturing on
projects.
Identified the training need for Current Technologies Surge Suppression units and how Graybar can
upsell Selenium based products. Challenge Technologies sales and management provided extensive
training. By using my business development skills and engineering capabilities, Mike Haley and Scott
Miller have agreed to team up with Graybar to identify new product fit opportunities and provide
engineering documentation to switch engineers over to Current Technology SPD units.
