A man wondered who he was to serve Jesus and leave behind the pleasures of life. One day, he preached in church and amazingly his father, who was very sick, was healed through his prayer. This taught him that God not only heals people but brings them to a better place if they believe and trust in him. The passage encourages that everyone is unique and valued in God's eyes, not based on titles or money but on their heart. God invests in each person with life, talents, and opportunities, so everyone has the ability to serve him.

2. WHO AM I TO SERVE JESUS?
There was a man who kept on wondering who am I to
serve Jesus? Wondering how is it possible to leave all the
good things that life can give for Jesus….Is it possible?
One day he tried to stand in the church before
others….Likely to say before the great multitudes
“congregations”. He stood and tried to preach…it was
amazing that…he was preached so nicely…..and when
he said now is the time to pray for the sick people at
home….he prayed for his father who was really
sick….amazingly….wonderfully…..incredibly….his
father got better.
You know something, God do not only make people
better but also he brings them out better off than they
were before….if you believe him and trust him

What do we learn from this,

Everyone is unique here, you are not a duplicate
of anyone… there were other people who failed to
follow Jesus….gave up on Jesus…..at a time when
they were too close to reach Jesus….have you
heard about the sower story “St. Mathew 13:1-9,
when they came to ask why are you speaking in
parables 13-23 that Jesus gave….. You may not
occupying any position….either a chairperson or
S.G. but Jesus identifies you uniquely not with you
titles…or money…..but with you heart…….1

But the Lord said unto Samuel, look not on his
countenance, or on the height of his stature;
because I have refused him: for the lord sees not
as man sees; for man looks on the outward
appearance, but the lord looks on the heart.
Everyone here is special not because people did
choose them but because God did.

5. WHO AM I TO SERVE JESUS?
God invests in everyone of us….life, time,
talents/gifts/abilities,
grace,
promise
and
opportunity.
The reason why I am alive today…. Is because of
God…..God is not a miser/ accumulator….and that
is why he invests ability..etc to each one of us.
Every one here is valuable.

