2. Sleep
◦ Sleep plays an important role in your physical health. For
example, sleep is involved in healing and repair of your heart
and blood vessels. Also, sleep reduces stress and improves
your memory.
◦ However, Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased
risk of heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure,
diabetes, and stroke.
3. Research
◦ When I was researching facts and information about sleep I found out that teenagers
and adults should at least get 8 hours of sleep everyday. Furthermore, I found out that
humans spend a third of their lives sleeping. That’s about 25 years. In addition,
parents of new babies miss out on 6 months worth of sleep in the first 2 years of their
child's life. Plus, Sleeping less than 7 hours each night reduces your life expectancy.
Moreover, Dysania is the state of finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning.

4. Target Audience
◦ My target audience is 16-19 year olds (teenagers) who are
struggling to get sleep and are having sleepless nights. The
reason why I am particularly targeting them is because I want
to encourage them to get better sleep and show them why
sleeping is important for the body and mind. Also, I think that
I can get to them as I feel that my poster is going to create a
powerful message and I’m the in the same age group as
them.
