2. Target Audience
Our target audience will students from Leyton sixth form/college
ranging from the ages 16-19. We are targeting this age group
because as we are the same age as them, it will be easier for us to
relate to them. So what we are going to do is ask them a series of
questions to do with the death penalty and hope to get feedback
from them to see if they agree with it or are against it. Before all of
that we are going to research about the death penalty and finds
facts about it. What we are planning to do is to show/read those
facts out to the person who we are questioning before actually
asking them the actual questions, to see if we can change their
minds.
3. Secondary research
At least 1 in 25 people sentenced to the death penalty in the U.S.
are innocent.
Death penalty trials are 20 times more expensive than trials seeking
a sentence of life in prison without parole.
The Death Penalty is legal in 32 U.S. states.
Iran sentences its citizens to the death penalty if they decide
to change their religion from Islam.
Nike’s slogan “just do it” was inspired by the last words of man about
to be executed.
