EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
2007 to Present Sun Life Assurance Company Of Canada (U.S), Richmond Group Office, VA
Sales Coordinator. Provided support to our Transition Operations and Services during the critical timeline of transitioning over 1,500 Group Life and Disability policies after the sale of the company’s Individual Life and Annuity business. Through dedicated efforts, we were able to successfully complete this project with minimal disruption to our customers. This included training sessions, spreadsheet tracking, IT support, quote set up, revisions, risk approvals, and finally customer support website installations for billing and contract document support.
Coordinated field office quoting process of Group Life, AD&D, Disability, Medical Stop-Loss, and Dental products. Timely collection and submission of requirements needed in order to deliver proposal to broker, as well as sold case information to New Business processing; worked closely with Implementation Team and Account Managers for a smooth transition from acquisition to installation. Development of close working relationship(s) with Brokers, Third Party Administrators, and other Home Office contacts, to provide a service focused environment for our inforce as well as potential customers (Premium, Claims or Dental reports as needed). Also provided support as Purchase Coordinator and back-up Sales Coordinator for multiple field locations.
2006 to 2007 Prudential Group Insurance, Glen Allen, VA
Sales Assistant. Provided support to Sales Staff members while serving as liaison for clients, brokers, and home office associates. Organized proposals for broker delivery, using online submission processes to obtain rate calculations for new coverage, add-issues, and plan design changes. Requested appropriate competitive window adjustments, discounts, plan design changes, and appeals to underwriting advocate per assigned Sales Manager. Ensured daily requests for proposals were reviewed for necessary information in order to meet brokers requested due date. Recorded retention of archives as outlined in Compliance processes and procedures.

Operations Coordinator. Served as receptionist for the office as well as provided assistance with recruiting and new hire processing, office supplies coordination, luncheon setups, video/teleconferencing setups, and data entry of weekly budget items in excel spreadsheets.
