 Authorized to use software called MIPS under Aker Solutions supervision.
 Updating weekly progress reports thru MIPS.
 Checking and reviewing the Job Card Packages whether it has discrepancies on MTO to the ISO
drawing, checking the clarity of the ISO drawing and finalizing the given take offs whether it is correct
or not before it reaches the fabricator. Checking the whole package whether all the necessary documents
has been attached.
 Coordinates with the Engineers with regards to the isometric drawings, plans, actual set ups, materials
and fittings.
 Sending site queries to Engineering Department thru MIPS.
 Daily checking of fabricated spools.
 Prepares job order for Post Weld Heat Treatment.
 Coordinates with the QA/QC team with regards to materials verification, dimensional spool checking,
and welding inspections of fabricated spools by giving them request for inspections daily.
 Coordinates with the Materials and Logistics department with regards to the arrival of materials and by
sending off spools that has been released by QC either it will send to Blasting and Painting or to Stock
Yard Area
 Coordinates with the Blasting and Painting team with regards to spool sent from my area to them. (and
vice versa on a case to case basis)
 Coordinates to our Stock Yard (Logistics) with regards to the spool sent from my area to them.

 Inspects work site to determine presence of obstructions and to ascertain that holes cut for pipe will not
cause structural weakness.
 Plans installation or repair to avoid obstructions and to avoid interfering with activities of other workers.

4.  Cuts pipe, using saws, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine.

 Bends pipe, using pipe bending tools and pipe bending machine.
 Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel,
copper, and plastic.
 Connects pipes, using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints, and handtools.
 Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers, using handtools and power tools.
 Fabrication of duplex stainless steel using only with tools dedicated to stainless steel materials. Tooling
and work surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned before use. These precautions are necessary to avoid
cross contamination of stainless steel by easily corroded metals that may discolour the surface of the
fabricated product.
 Making sure that duplex stainless steel surfaces should be free from oil, grease, dirt and dust. Solvent
should be used to remove those surface contaminants.
 Making sure that post fabrication clean up for duplex stainless steel has been done eg. Crayon marks,
paint, oil, weld spatter, weld discoloration, flux, slag and arc strikes.
