4. What is Text Editor?
A text editor is a type of Computer Parograme that edit
text.Such A parograme are sometime called “notepad”
parograme.
Text editor are provided with OS and software
devolpment packages,and can be used to change
configuration files docomentation files.

Before text editor computer text was punched into
cards with keypunch machine physical boxes of these
thin cardboard cards were then inserted into card
reader.
They often have no line separtion charcters at all,and
assumed fixed length of 80 character records.
It could be created by teleprinter.
First text editor were line editor oriented to teleprinter
or type writer style terminal without displays.
7. NotePad++
Intial release on Nov 24 2003
It is a text editor and source code editor for use with
Microsoft windows.
It support Tabbed editing,which allows multiple open
files in a single window.
It is downloaded over 28 million times.
Notepad uses the scintilla editor component.
8. History
Notepad++ was developed by Don HO in sep 2003
The developer used JEXT(java based text editor) at
his company but dissatisfied with its poor performance.
He developed a text editor written in C++ with
Scintilla.
It is built was Microsoft window application.
In 2011 lifehacker described Notepad++ as “the best
programming text editor for windows”.
In 2014 lifehacker voted for Notepad++ most popular
text editor.
9. Cubic IDE
Intial release 1993
It is a modular development environment for AmigoOS.
The specific feature includes syntax highlights for
several programming language.
It is use for installation assistant(to create installion),
Auto doc docomentation
Automatic completion for OS symbols
10. Edit PLus
Intial release Mar 20 1998
Stable release 29 apr 2018
It is a text editor for Microsoft OS.
It is developed by Sangil Kim of ES-computing
The editor contains tools for parogrammer.inculding
Syntax highlighting(feature use for scripting and
markup language such as HTML).
Filetype conversion,spell check,auto completion,
File can be browsed and edited in tabs.

12. Wordpad
Wordpad is basic word processor.
Include almost all version of Microsoft windows.
It is more advanced then Microsoft Notepad.
Simpler for writing
Wordpad can format and print text.including
fonts,bold,italic,colored text etc
Wordpad is well suited for taking notes,writing letters
and stories.
It can be use in tablets,PCs and smartphones.
13. Wordpad
Wordpad was introduced in window 95 by replacing
microsoft write which came with all previous versionof
windows.
The defult font used in window 95 to window vista was
Arial 10;in window 7 it was changed to Calibri 11.
14. Microsoft Notepad
It is simple text editor for microsoft window.
Basic text editing parograme which enable computer
users to create docoments.
It was first release as a mouse based MS-DOC
parogram in 1983.
And has been included in all versions of microsoft
windows.
It was designed by Charles Simonyl to work with the
mouse.
Notepad does not require a lock in the file it opens it
can opens files while wordpad cannot.
