 STD is group of diseases that spread from person to person through sexual
contact .
 incidence : 1 in 4 teenage have STD ( western statistics )
 Female Are more effected than male
 STD in pregnancy are more dangerous and may lead to abortion , congenital
anomaly

 Inj Benzathine Penicillin G 2.4MU single dose IM
Or
 Alternatives If allergic to Penicillin : T.Doxycycline 100 mg
orally twice daily for 14 days

13. For Tertiary and late latent
Inj Benzathine Penicillin G 2.4 MU IM once in a week for 3 weeks
or
Alternatives If allergic to Penicillin : T.Doxycycline 100 mg orally twice daily for 28
days
