Patient: A patient is a person who is receiving medical treatment from a doctor or hospital.
Subscriber: The person who purchases policy and pays premium to
insurance company.
Dependent: The spouse and children of subscriber called
dependents.
For example; We have a family in this slide, so Nik is with their family, so suppose his
wife and children are sick and they came to the doctor for treatment,
so here “Patient” is Nik’s wife and children and “Subscriber” is Nik and “Dependent”
is Nik’s wife and children

Doctor: A person who has earned a medical doctorate and is certified to diagnose patients, provide
them with care and treatment, and prescribe any necessary medication.
In terms of medical we called “Provider” to the doctor.

Health Insurance: Health insurance is a contract between
a insurance company and a consumer (Patient).
The insurance company agrees to pay all or some of the
insured person's healthcare costs in return for payment of a
monthly premium.
Note: The contract is usually a one-year agreement, during
which the insurer (Insurance company) will be responsible for
paying specific expenses related to illness, injury, pregnancy, or
preventative care.
Premium: It is the amount which is periodically paid by subscriber to an
insurance company to remain eligible with insurance company.
