Vandana Luthra was born on 12 July 1959 in New Delhi, part of the National
Territory of Delhi, India. She was 63 years old now. She is the founder of VLCC
(Vandana Luthra Curls and Curves) Health Care Limited and also chairperson of the
B&WSSC (Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council) in 2014. Vandana Luthra has
authored 2 books and their names are “Complete Fitness Program” and “ A Good
Life”. She has got a host of awards for superiority and entrepreneurship over the
years including the Padma Shri in 2013 for her contribution to trade and the
industry.

Vandana started VLCC in 1989, as a wellness service and beauty center
in Safdarjung development area, new Delhi, which focused on
nourishing modification and effort regimen-based weight management
programs. Currently, the VLCC store operates in 326 locations which are
in 153 cities and 13 countries including south east Asia, south Asia, the
GCC Region, and East Africa.

wellness services was needed to build a brand like VLCC. But it was Vandana Luthra’s
passion for revolutionising the beauty industry that drove her to create her own legacy.
She researched extensively on conceptualizing a beauty company that people can trust.
Initially, VLCC was a wellness centre but with her vision, it was expanded into a prominent
business company with operations in 150 cities and 14 countries like India, UAE,
Bangladesh, Nepal, Singapore, Kenya, Sri Lanka; all due to the efforts and hard work of an
ambitious woman who had the foresight to combine medical expertise with nutrition and
cosmology to carter to growing lifestyle demands of women and men.
