yurveda is in practice for centuries
in Indian history. Ayurveda is
a combination of two words
“AYU” and “VEDA”; AYU means life and
VEDA means Science. It is said that
“Ayurveda have all answers to virus and
diseases on this planet”. The main fact
that, Ayurveda is still popular and high
in practice is due to its results. It has
almost no side effects on any human
body; and has answers to almost every
illness we face since our childhood.

The basic philosophy of health,
disease, and treatment in Ayurveda
Ayurveda is AYU and VEDA. AYU means life
VEDA means science. The science of life is
Ayurveda.
In Ayurveda, health is a balance between body,
mind, and spirit. If your mind, body, and spirit
are in harmony with the universe, you have
good health. When something disrupts this
balance, you get sick. Ayurveda’s main goal
is to promote good health, not fight disease.
Treatment in Ayurveda may be geared towards

specific health problems.
Ayurveda believes that everything in this universe
is made up of five basic elements Prithvi, Jal,
Agni, Vayu & Akash collectively known as
Panchamahabhutas. Ayurveda believes that the
components and functioning of nature are similar
to the functioning of the human body, the concept
of Panchamahabhutas is considered to be the
foundation of Ayurveda and also pivotal to the
understanding of the functioning and movement of
the human body.
Ayurveda is based on the principles of three
doshas or the three basic energy types which are
further classified as Vata, Pitta & Kapha. All the
three doshas combine to create different climates,
different foods, different species, and even different
individuals within the same species and perform
different physiological functions in every individual
body. The particular ratio of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha
within each of us has a significant influence on our
individual physical, mental, and emotional character
traits.
What is Songara?
Songara® is a women-led DPIIT recognized startup
based out at Ahemdabad and with 11 outlets in India
and exporting to Europe, the USA, and Gulf countries.
Songara’s facilities are certified with GMP, ISO
9001, ISO 22000, FSSAI, and IEC. Directors, Rekha
Arunsingh Songara and Aanchal Kunwar co-founded
Songara All Ayurvedic Private Limited in July 2019 to
take traditional Ayurvedic practices to every home.

leadership of Dr. Shashikant Rai has more than 25
Ayurvedic doctors associated who keep extending
support for new and quality product development and
servicing our customers.
The Scope of Ayurveda in the
contemporary society
Ayurveda has wide scope in modern times as far
as prevention of disease, promotion of health, and
treatment of existing health problems is concerned. In
India, Ayurveda is the primary healthcare option in
various forms including home remedies, the solution
from kitchen items, grandma’s tricks, traditional
dietary practices, or directly through ayurvedic
doctors.
In covid times medicines failed but Ayurveda helped
in building a strong immunity system. The company
witnessed many foreigners from across the world
adopting Ayurvedic practices through options like
meditation, cleansing therapies, or a massage.
Safety of Ayurvedic Medicines
Ayurveda is the safest healthcare system of all. Most
of the ingredients are taken from herbs and other

household consumable food items. Medicines are
safe if the manufacturer is licensed and the label
of the container does say to consult the doctor
before consumption. However, it is advisable to take
Ayurvedic medicines consulting a doctor or Ayurvedic
expert. Ayurvedic medicines are prescribed by one’s
body constitution and the medicine for one individual
may differ from the other. One should always refrain
from self-medication.
Specialized Ayurvedic Treatments
Ayurvedic resorts have become popular destinations for
relaxation and rejuvenation in India, while Ayurvedic
hospitals cater to people seeking Ayurvedic treatment for
more serious health problems. While Ayurveda is more
prominent in the south due to the climate, and abundant
supply of medicinal plants and herbs there, Gujarat, has
a total of 48 Ayurved hospitals, out of which 29 are run
by Govt.
The Panchkarma method of treatment has been proven
to be radically effective for stubborn and chronic
diseases. Special Ayurvedic treatments like Kshaarsootra
and Raktmokhshana, are available at some
of the big hospitals. Besides the
hospitals, Govt. sees to it that
Ayurvedic treatment is
made available to the
rural, tribal, and remote
areas where there are no
medical facilities through
Ayurved dispensaries.
There are in total 780
such dispensaries in the
State.
The Founder’s
Journey
Born in a traditional
cultured family, Rekha
Arunsingh Songara and Aanchal Kanwar found each
other like-minded for doing something for women
empowerment and making an entry into the business
world with the traditional healthcare system, Ayurveda.
Their in-laws supported them against all odds and
encouraged them to start a company to make a new
history in the society to create an example for all women
who want to do something but give up in absence of
required support, resources, or have large investment.
Their interaction with Dr. Shashikant Rai (Gold medallist
in Ayurveda), inspired them to focus on helping society
with quality healthcare using traditional Ayurvedic
knowledge and practices. Under the guidance of Dr.
Rai, Rekha and Aanchal started Songara All Ayurvedic
Private Limited with a contribution of 1 lac capital
each in July 2019.

diagnosing disease, people want precise findings, high

when we decided to open a lab. We do our hardest to

How and when were you introduced to
Astrology?
I inherited my passion for astrology from my parents
and ancestors. Vedic astrology was used to predict the
occurrence of various important economic events.
Growing up, I saw first-hand how this ancient science can
make an impact on people and their lives. It was then that
I decided that this is the field I want to pursue.
What motivated you to turn your passion
into a successful venture?
In the early days, astrology to most people was generally
synonymous with two things: Zodiac predictions and/
or limited to basic life facts based on the birth chart. I
wanted to change that perception.
This was the starting point for me. I decided to break
the status quo. I dived deep into how I could co-relate
planetary transitions to economic activities. This resulted
in the launch of Time Theory, a pioneering concept to
help time market trends.
I diversified my services to offer unique and professional
services that were different from the regular astrology
services being offered. I launched business astrology
and financial astrology. Today, I am proud to proclaim
the achievements and success I have helped my clients

a lot of time and effort. Having said that, my persistence
to make change happen, led me on a path of constant
research, an open mind, and a lifelong learning approach.
This led me to become India’s first women astrologer in
the field of financial astrology. An achievement I take great
pride in!

And aim to bring it to the forefront on a global scale.

Pro takes 6.5 hours to get fully charged from the 750
watt home charger. The most unique feature of this
scooter is that it has Cruise mode which can drive you
at the maximum speed of 40kmph. It is the only two
wheeler in the Indian market which is combined with
cruise mode. Cruise mode will be a game changer for
Ola electric as no one has experienced this feature in
two wheelers. S1 Pro is priced at Rs. 1,29,999*. S1 Pro
will be available in 10 stunning colours; Red, Yellow, Jet
Black, White, Neo Mint, Liquid Silver, Millenial Pink,
Anthrecite Grey, Midnight Blue, and Matte Black.
Both scooters have front 220mm and rear 180mm disc
break with standard CBS which could cut of the speed
instantly. At the front we have telescopic suspension and
Mono-shock suspension at the rear. The e-scooter has
the kerb weight of 121kg and 125kg respectively, which
is slightly heavy compared to its competition.
Fast Charging Network
Ola has assured that they will setup 100k+ (more than
1,00,000)chargingpointsin400citiesacrossIndiawhich
will boost the e-scooter’s battery up to 75kms in just 18
minutes of time period. Ola calls this charging network
as “Ola Hypercharger Network”. It will definitely remove
the range anxiety which has been since the introduction
of electric vehicles. These chargers are expected to be
available in the major cities of India which has the
highest demand of electric scooters and bikes.
When to expect these scooters on road?
Ola began its reservation in the August month which
received more than 100k (1, 00,000+) in just 24
hours. Later the scooters were to be pre-booked on 8
September 2021. But due to some technical issues date
was postponed to 15 September 2021. Pre-booking was
prioritized to the customers who reserved earlier. The
company opened the pre-booking process on the Ola
app on September 15, prioritizing customers based
on the reservation dates. Customers had to make Rs.
20,000 advance payment, with deliveries beginning in
the month of October.
Government Subsidies
Both scooters are eligible for FAME II subsidy which is
allotted by the Central government. This subsidy will
be included in the given selling price. But that’s not all.
Ola scooters are also eligible for state subsidies which
are given by state like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan,
and Delhi. These subsidies will be deducted at the time
of purchase.
That is all we know till date. As soon as the scooters are
available to the customers, the real world performance
can be experienced. Everyone is expecting a lot from
these e-scooters as it has the potential to fulfill the
customer’s demand.
Record Pre-Bookings
Ola electric sold scooters worth Rs. 1,100 crore in just
two days of span after its pre-booking initiated on
September 15. This information was posted by the CEO
Bhavish Aggarwal in a BlogSpot on Friday September
17. He wrote “This is unprecedented not just in the
automotive industry but it is one of the highest sales in a
day for a single product in Indian e-commerce history!
We truly are living in a digital India”.
On Thursday September 16 Mr. Bhavish said Ola had
achieved the sales of Rs. 600 crore in the first 24 hours,
claiming this figure as surpassed what the entire two-
wheeler industry sells in a day.
Now Ola has a plan to re-open the sales window on
November 1 at the time of Diwali festival. It is expected
to be again a massive hike in the number of pre-
bookings for Ola scooters if these are delivered on the
time mentioned.
