Being a valued team member that actively participates in group interactions, offering
support and guidance to my peers, I ensure that my role is fulfilled to the best standard. I
am well motivated and driven to execute tasks and projects because innovation excites me.
Therefore I am always keen to rise to the challenge and it has been a privilege to have
acquired such a diverse skill set over the years that equip me to achieve success. Planning
my own workload has been imperative to my ability to responsibility undertake duties and
tasks within my role. Management and supervision opportunities that I have encountered
have been greatly beneficial in my professional and personal developments. More
specifically, my most recent role within a specialist technical team was rewarding and self-
satisfying in relation to achieving quality and accuracy within tight deadlines in conjunction

Career History
June 2015 - Present Balfour Beatty – Back End Validator
I currently work for Balfour Beatty as a Back End Validator, in
which I have to check digitised sessions for quality prior to
submission, to ensure the data capture of low and medium
pressure gas mains is correct. This has to be done to a high
standard and in-line with National Grids policies and
procedures to minimise data accuracy rejections. I have to
make sure that all project packs meet the required service
level agreements for them to be submitted to Hinckley in a
2. timely manner ensuring they do not fall outside of the
D28/D42 compliance policy.
May 2012 – June 2015 Enterprise (tupe) to Balfour Beatty – Data Capture
Technician.
My role involved digitisation of mains and services to DR23
standard using GDFO systems while submitting the project
packs to Data Assurance (Hinckley) by uploading
documentation to SAP DMS for approval/validation.
Digitisation of Low Pressure and Medium Pressure mains,
domestic connections and composite services. Data capture
of mains, services, valves and governors in the SAP portal.
Pre and post digitising validation of project packs to ensure
they have the right documentation for the pack to be digitised
and submitted to Data Assurance.
Resolving queries and rejections regarding submitted
sessions, to maintain the quality and accuracy of the team.
Dec 2011 – May 2012 National Grid- Administrative Assistant (Initiation and
Scheduling Team)
My duties involved scheduling work requests for the raising of
mains and services included in all four gas networks. Handling
queries and completing outstanding work from the .box.
Working to deadlines and targets, complying with GSOS
procedures sending 3 month and 10 day letters to National
Grid customers explaining the work planned for their area.
Feb 2011 – Aug 2011 The Drum Arts Centre – Marketing Assistant
My role included planning small scale campaigns, designing
flyers and posters using Photoshop. I also worked with various
suppliers to produce high quality promotional materials to
communicate my campaigns to a city-wide audience, creating
press releases and direct mail letters to communicate events
to the local community. I have also had to analyse data using
the Patron Edge database software and pull reports detailing
advanced sales information.

My role involved commercial maintenance, cleaning and
supervisory duties.
