2. Don’t be inflexible.
Adopt an agile methodology where you
continually assess, revise, and improve
your strategy.
if the output isn’t accurate or helpful,
it no longer suits your purpose.

with causation.
A significant relationship between two
variables doesn’t automatically prove
causality. A change in one may not
cause a change in the other.
Instead of making assumptions
ensure you drill down into the data
to verify relationships.

A relationship between two variables in one
area of the business will not necessarily
hold true for another area.
For example, operating conditions may vary
for different branches of a store as different
locations have different levels of
competition, volume of customers etc.

An outlier is a statistical anomaly
or atypical specimen.
They can be an indication that you need to
take a closer look at the data since they
can be caused by three things:
Inaccurate data
A variable only affecting certain datasets.
Correlation between two variables instead of causation.

Data cleansing ensures that your data is:
Up-to-date
and relevant
Complete Free of
duplications
Free of errors Valid Reliable

downplay privacy
Data governance is critical.
Compliance with privacy regulations such as

A report is useless if it
