Bachelor’s Degree in Economic & Administrative Sciences in Accounting
1995/2000 from Omdurman Ahlia University, Sudan.
Diploma in Computer Sciences, 1996/1997 from Walled Institute for Computer
Sciences.
Experience:
All my experience since October 1999 is in the field of finance and accounting. I
worked in four different industries: Telecommunications, Hospitality, Construction,
and Sales.
Financial Director: from November 2015 (my current position)
@ Nadi Etisalat Company for telecommunications in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My role
and responsibilities includes supervision of twelve accountants and undertaking all
aspects of financial management, financial reporting, budget and forecasts
preparation, development of internal control policies and procedures, managing all
accounting operations i.e. Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting,
Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and Bank Accounts Reconciliation.
Financial Controller: from January 2012 to October 2015
@ Wahat Al Khartoum for Urban Development: (Hospitality Company). My duties
are developing and leading a strong team focusing on accountabilities, respect and
driving for positive end results in revenue management, expense control and cash
control, perform research and analysis of accounting matters, interface with
investors, vendors, suppliers, and banks within the company’s business relations,
represent the accounting function in acquisition analysis and acquisition integration,
oversee tax compliance, presenting to the audit committee and Board of Directors
financial information on a timely basis, oversee and participate in the preparation of
monthly financial reports, Involved in budget preparation, participates in strategic
initiatives related to accounting matters, supervise the finance division and manage
the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and

Cost Control Accountant: From January 2009 to November 2011.
@ Araak Development & investment Co. (Construction Company). My duties are
checking all suppliers payments before approved to pay, control stores materials and
give the order for shorted items to be supplied from local market or import (if
imported all communication with supplier till agreement of last price), follow up all
store transaction and approve it, I have a more strategic role and deal with planning,
administration and general management issues, which include the day-to-day
supervision of staff, and overseeing work, monitoring the performance and progress
of staff, motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to
ensure set productivity targets are met, communicating with other departments,
overseeing stock control and processing orders, ensuring quality, delivery budget and
environmental objectives are met, coordinating the use of automated and
computerized systems, responding to and dealing with requester communication by
email, fax and telephone, keeping stock control systems up to date, planning future
capacity requirements, producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and
monthly basis, briefing workers on a daily basis, visiting customers to monitor the
quality of service they are receiving, maintaining standards of health and safety,
hygiene and security in the work environment, overseeing the planned maintenance
of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
Accountant: From January 2006 to December 2008.
@ Araak Development & investment Company (Construction Company) with
accounting duties in costs of villas which the company build & invest on, keep stock
under control, control stores’ expenditure, pay to suppliers for materials and
services, insert all data in the accounting program (TALLY), control import account,
manage the general ledger, implement the administrative system, govern and control
the budget and expenditures, and bank statements’ reconciliation.
Accountant: From October 1999 to December 2004.
Accountant in ( KMK company Sudan –for sale of electronic devices and used cars ).
My duties are within the bookkeeping functions, debit and credit entries,
journalization, issuance of receipts for collections from the sales, bank statements’
reconciliation, data analysis in the computer system, maintain and control financial
records, assist in preparation of trial balances and financial statements and help the
external auditors in reviewing the financial documents, handle specific assignments

in meetings with the banks with whom the company has letters of credit or
Murabaha agreements, and contribute in other duties such as discussing and solving
taxation (Zakat) issues.
Other Skills:
Knowledge of standard finance and accounting policies and procedures; as well
as professional documentation.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and
Word.
Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
Effectively managing and leading staff and delegation tasks.
Correct and prompt financial reports, maintaining confidentially, providing and
comparing historical data whenever required.

Mother language: Arabic, with the capability to read, write, speak, and
understand English easily.
I had the opportunity to conduct business trips to China, India, UAE, Qatar and
Oman which gave me a very good knowledge other than Sudan market.
