Theme 1: Cleanliness and Hygiene
Unit 1: Washing Hands
Team: Najwa, Roubina, Manal, Rana,& Ramonda Duration: Nov.19-Nov.23, 2018-2019
Objectives 1-Identify the importance of cleanliness
2-Express preferences about pleasant odor and unpleasant odor
3-Identify the spatial opposite open/close-wet/dry
Materials Video about washing hands
Warm-up
Activity
Sing the song along with the video about washing hands
Warm up Activities: T. displays the soap, towel, water, and small basin .She pantomimes the actions as she points at each one and
names each one. Children repeat the names after the T.

the steps in washing hands
Children Listen, point, and repeat ,then they follow
the steps in washing hands

Verbal/Linguistic, Visual/Spatial)
Apply ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis)to improve
child’s self-care. Motivation is essential in ABA
It should follow the natural interests(for example:
activities, toys, food and attention)
Once we know what they are motivated for, we can
use it as prompts to enhance the desired behavior.
-T. asks children about their
favorite soap smell after
giving each child a turn in
smelling.

Intrapersonal)
-Each child has to wash his
hands following the
appropriate steps
(Logical/Mathematical,
Verbal/Linguistic,

-T. plays the video of washing

Children respond physically to each

children simple instructions such as:
"wash your hands, open the tap ,
the soap , the hands rinse ,dry …"
