2. General audience feedback
Draft 1:
We were giver simple point to improve on such as Mes en Scene, using
more filters and making the narrative clear as it wasn’t understood by
anyone. We also needed to include more coloured lights as we planned from
the start.
Draft 2
We needed to create more consistency in the video. Needed more base
tracks to make the editing smoother and easier for us to do. Needs variety
in performance and removing the 80s clip as they had no purpose in it.
Ancillaries needed change and CD didn’t match anything.
Draft 3
We were told to drop the narrative and focus completely on the
performance and unique shots in the video. For this draft we were given
and used a green screen. The ancillaries needed minor changes such as font,
but were already good from the last draft.
3. Questions and responses
• How would you compare the editing to a professional
music video?
The editing in the final draft looked a lot better
than before, however it is not frame perfect. I
think it was close but not quite there yet.
• Do the ancillaries link to the music video?
The ancillaries show a clear connection to the
video and creates a strong branding in all three
of your products.
