Conclusion
Who invented construction
•
•
No one specially is credited with inventing construction
However,we could consider all of our Ancestors as contributors to the
field of construction
When did it started
•
•
•
It started in the earliest days of our times when humans moved out of
caves
In the early growth of world,Humans lived in caves which they built
from stones,leaves and animal’s dunk.
The question arise why did construction begin when humans moved
out of caves?
SHELTER
•
•
The answer is Shelter.
Shelter from Climatic conditions like wind, rain and Sleet,Snow etc.
OLDEST CONSTRUCTION
MATERIAL AND TOOLS
•
•
•
Materials:
Thatch is one of the oldest of building material known, thatch is
another word for Grass;grass is a good insulator and easily harvested.
Wood is another oldest and most tradionals building material around the
world,is of course Timber
Many African tribes are lived in homes completely made of grasses and wood.
Tools
•
•



The people of the time needed to develop tools to help
them build more formidable structures
These tools are now refused to as:
Lever
Pulley
Wheel and Axel
MIDDLE AGES
•
•
•
•
In middle ages many techniques were developed.
Most buildings in Northern Europe were constructed of timber until
1000AD
Bricks continued to be manufactured in Italy throught the period
600-1000AD
Time to time variations and technology’s involved in construction.
SEVENTEENTH CENTURY
•
•
•
The seventeenth century saw the birth of modern science which
effects on building construction.
Many tools introduced in modern technology, but the line guage,plumb-
line, the carpenter’s square and the drafting compass are still in regular
use.
Pulleys allowed comparatively large loads to be lifted, and ramps were
used to lift loads up to the upper parts of buildings.
EIGHTEENTH CENTURY
•
•
The development of many ideas born in the late seventeenth century.
The architects and engineers became increasingly professionalised.
Brick production increased markedly during this period.Bricks were
made by hand and fired in kilns no different to those for centuries
before.
NINETEENTH CENTURY
•
•
•
It was an industrial revolution time.
New construction devices included steam engines, machine tools,
explosives and optical surveying.
Building codes have been applied since the 19th century, with special
respect to fire safety.
TWENTIETH CENTURY
•
•
•
With the Second Industrial Revolution in the early 20th century
elevators and cranes made high rise buildings.
Computer-aided design also made great comtribution in construction
of high buildings.
In the end of this century ecology, sustainable development and energy
conservation have become more impotant issue in construction.
TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY
•
•
•
In this century, wood building products and techniques are being used
in increasing numbers and types of buildings.
The latest technology reduces cost of construction and increase
strength of building.
Time management also done through latest technology.
CONCLUSION
 This is how the growth occurred in CONSTRUCTION and also it
shows
civilization of HUMAN BEINGS.
