assurance and auditthrougheveryareaof the sectionwhile optimizingthe processof
production.

1.0: SCOPE
this,documentdescribesthe QA/QCProceduresand scope of work that are inthe line with
M/s: GHANTOOTN groupBuildingdivision objectivesof maintaininghighstandardqualityfor
Private andGovernmental Organization, Ministryof interior,Ministryof Justice & Peace Projects
inaccordance with Local regulations,Abu Dhabi municipality,ESTIDAMA, Ministryof Interior
Civil defense,Dubai Municipality,CED- TRAKHEES & International standards.
2.0: RESPONSIBILITY
Quality Assurance/ QualityControl Section
To, make sure that all constructionmaterialsandrelatedapplicationsconfirmstoapplicable
standards,code of engineeringpractice andLocal Regulations.
3.0: Sr. QA/QC MANAGER
1: Developoveralllongtermstrategicobjectivesand QA/QC plan.
2: Monitor the implementationof strategiestooptimizethe short,mediumalongerterm
performance of the Qualitycontrol section.
3: Developandupdate QA/QCControl Forms,systemsandproceduresbykeepingabreastof
international standardsandcodesspecificto the section
4: Reviewmaterial submissionsandchecktheircompliance withprojectspecification,approved
drawingsandrelevantstandards.
5: Reviewandapprove Methodstatements,ITP’Stechnical submissionsforconstruction
materials.
6: Manage a team of QualityinspectionsEngineersandoversee the inspectionprocessesfor
scheduledandunscheduledconstructionmaterial andtheircompliance usedinsites.
7: Conductlaboratorytestingof constructionmaterial andreview the reportsof the same.
8: Settle disputesbetweencontractors.
9: Participate andprovide inputstothe sectionheadforupdatingandupgradingthe applicable
technical manuals/guidelineswithrespecttoqualitycontrol
10: Arrange andparticipate inconductinginhouse andlocal seminars/Forums.
11: Reviewandanalyze testresultsof materials
12: Advise onimprovingqualitycontrol systemsinthe constructionfield
13: Ensure that all projectscomply withthe requirementsof the “Projectspecificationandlocal
Authorityregulation”
14: Randomlyselectspecimensfromsites fortestingatan independentthirdpartylaboratory

15: Witnesstrial mixesandtestingrequestedbyQA/QCManager
16: Leadingthe Qualityteamonsite and coordinatingQualitymatterswiththe contractors
17: Settingupof a QualityAssurance/Qualitycontrol Plan/Procedures
18: Enforcingthe QA systemonGhantoot / subcontractorsthrough Kick- off meetingandsub-
contractor coordinationmeetings
19: Conductingregularexternal andinternal auditsof stakeholders
20: Documentingeachconductedauditandensuringthatthe corrective andpreventiveactions
are implementedandiseffective inaddressingthe contractorsauditor’sfindingorobservations.
21: Contractor shall have todevelopplansandproceduresforvenderandmaterial inspections.
22: Reviewingmanufacturer’sproductsandprovidingrecommendationfor designand
specificationpurposes
23: Reviewingandapprovingof all associatedsupplier’s/manufacturer’sfor GhantootProjects
issuedqualityassurance,qualitycontrol documentations,problemsolvingof fieldinspection
non- conformancesanddeviations fromsupplier’s duringinspectionlifecycle.
24: Chairand documentweeklyqualitycontrol meetingsforcivil/architecture withthe project
control managerand provide writtenminutesasdescribedinprojectspecificationcontract
documents.
25: Coordinate anddocumentthe testing&commissioningof buildingsystemsaspartof site
closeoutprocedure.Coordinate withconstructionteamforfinal Commissioning&testactivities.
26: Advise onthe stoppage of workif necessarytoresolve mattersthataffectsafety,quality
and /or inhibit the logical progressof work.
27: Where appropriate,the qualitymanageradvisesonchangesandtheirimplementationand
providestraining,trainingtoolsandtechniquestoenableotherstoachieve quality.
28: Schedule Qualitycontrol auditsnotlessthanmonthlyanddocumentfindingsinareport.
29: Maintainrecordsof auditsof contractorsand subcontractorsas qualityrecordsandmake
themavailable tothe consultantuponrequest.
30: The monitoringsystemshall applytomaterial andequipmentaswell asdocumentation,
installationandconstructionwhichfail toconformtothe Contract Documents.
31: QA/QC Manager shall be informby Consultant's&Sub-Contractorswiththe followingfor
non-compliance:
