3. Derinkuyu's Massive, Ancient
Underground City:
 Discovered in 1960s in TURKEY.
 It was 18-story underground city.
 It was built in about 8th
centruy BC.
 Found during renovation of a
modern house.
 Use to protect its inhabitants
from either war or natural disaster.
 This underground city contain:
 Quarters , shops,
 communal rooms, ETC…..

 It was almost 5000 year old city.
 It was destroyed in 18th century.
 The ruins were first discovered
in 1922.
 Indus Valley Civilization.
