2. Introduction
O The Internet of Things (IoT) is a scenario in which objects, animals or
people are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer
data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-
to-computer interaction. IoT has evolved from the convergence
of wireless technologies, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS)
and the Internet.
O A thing, in the Internet of Things, can be a person with a heart
monitor implant, a farm animal with a biochip transponder, an
automobile that has built-in sensors to alert the driver when tire
pressure is low -- or any other natural or man-made object that can be
assigned an IP address and provided with the ability to transfer data
over a network. So far, the Internet of Things has been most closely
associated with machine-to-machine (M2M) communication in
manufacturing and power, oil and gas utilities. Products built with
M2M communication capabilities are often referred to as being smart.
3. Trends
O More than 900 "Internet of Things"-
specific vendors showcased new products
and services at this year's Consumer
Electronics show.
O the information technology research firm
Gartner has predicted that by 2020, the
Internet of Things will expand to reach 26
billion different connected devices .
4. O wearable technology, IPV6, connected
car, cloud computing, gesture recognition,
augmented reality, big data, smart HVAC,
smart lighting, and precision farming.
O The Internet of Nano Things Market by
Communication Type (Short & Long
Distance Communication), by Nano
Components & Devices (Cameras,
Phones, Scalar Sensors, Processors,
Memory Cards, Power Systems, Antennas
& Transceivers)
Future Trends
5. Interest Areas
O My area of interest in the IoT is especially
wearable devices.
O Holo lens & google glass are one of the most
famous examples of wearable devices. When
comes to innovation how about creating an
hologram then using to create physical device
using a 3d-printer.
O To create a product we must know what is the
best we can make from the technology for
better use of society, people and environment.
Its all a new era ,a lot to be made in future.
