Michalis Moulakis has 15 years experience as a Creative Director managing teams to produce creative works across various mediums. His work has aired in 44 countries and won 24 awards. Some of his past projects include rebranding mobile tech company Upstream through logo design, banners, and presentations. He also created an online game called the Upstream Challenge to help screen 10,000 job applications. More recently, he has taken on the role of Marketing Manager at Greek debt management company Qualco, where he is responsible for all communication outputs.
3. But as Creative Director I have been working with designers, photographers, directors, artists, programmers, and
developers for 15 years to produce print ads, films, interior design murals, websites, corporate presentations, mobile
promo campaigns, online games, chocolate boxes, and (almost!) everything in-between.
I manage teams of creative people and provide concept, content, and channel
in pursuit of creative excellence and commercial success.
My work has aired in 44 countries around the world
and has won 13 awards for creativity and 11 awards for effectiveness.

4. Logo-based design proposal for webpage, Upstream 2011
In 2011, Upstream, a mobile tech company with clients in over 40 countries, hired me as Creative Director.

effective messaging, rather than spamming.
13. In the spring of 2011 I worked with Upstream Senior VP of Innovation
Guy Krief, to creatively solve the problem of sorting through 10,000 job
applications for the position of Campaign Manager.
We devised an online test that would screen applicants and rank
them according to a set of gamified challenges that would reveal a
contestant’s relevant skills.
We called it
the Upstream Challenge.

My career began in advertising.
I started out as a copywriter and moved up to Creative Director
for both Ogilvy and DDB.
26. In 2013, I was part or a team that
launched a crowd-funding gift application.
The project was called Supergiftme.gr
It failed.
