I began my love for all-things-digital in 1998, when I used Windows and
stumbled upon flashkit.com, DevianArt.com & Google. Sparked by the
opportunity to create a website for my school, I learnt as much as I could
about design, 2D animation, action scripting (AS2) and user experience by
doing a course with Image Institute of Multimedia. As my thirst to learn
continued to grow, I was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug when I did my
first commercial website at age 17 and in 2001, I started an agency along
with my brothers called Matter Most Urgent that delivered logos &
animated websites in a fraction of the time our competitors were taking.
With a solid base in design and technology, my role evolved over the years
as I grew the team to a strength of 25 consisting of designers, developers
& testers.
Notable Achievements:
Designed and executed a series of 360 degree interactive presentations for
Taj Holidays which was implemented across 25 hotels.
Assumed a lead role in team meetings during pitches and was appreciated
for strengths in communication, presentation and negotiation skills which
helped close deals.

In 2006, Matter Most Urgent rechristened to MMU Communications to target
B2B customers in the U.S market. I began to concentrate my efforts towards
generating leads online by using adwords, landing pages, videos, search and
mailer marketing for brands like Xpress Money, Tavant Technologies, Pepsi
Co, CMTC, SotSol & EA Games. In 2009, due to the great recession, the
company downsized to a skeletal team and I decided to handover my
responsibilities in search of new opportunities.
Notable Achievements:
Expanded client base by 50% in three years by consistently delivering
goal-surpassing marketing results and ensured
complete client satisfaction with quality output.
Instrumental in the strategic growth of the company to expand base in
Bangalore, Dubai and Los Angeles.

In 2012, I joined Rage Communications as senior client servicing
manager. My role included managing BAU work for the
Australian division and several turn key digital campaigns for
Citibank, Wespac and Sydney Opera House. Deliveries ranged
from formulating a communication strategy to supervising
production of marketing collaterals; ie: content, mailers, landing
pages, microsites, simple 10 page wordpress websites,
community portals, phone apps and interactive outdoor
displays,

Architected, co-designed, spearheaded and launched a
responsive dining portal for Citibank Australia.

Led the market launch of the Citibank Australia website, which
was the first to do so in the APAC region. The adaptive
website framework and marketing campaigns were used as a
blueprint to implement in other Asian countries like Singapore

Forecasted revenue for the financial year and ensured sales
targets exceeded if not met expectations, hence proving to be
the second most profitable SBU in the company with a turnover
of over USD 1 Million.

Early in 2014, that I got the opportunity to work with a Los
Angeles based strategic marketing agency, RK Global to market
B2B brands on social media & marketplaces. Working on
multiple US time zones, I handled 3 clients of California
Manufacturing Technology Company (CMTC, a government
funded marketing agency who helped struggling manufacturing
companies) like Western Hydrostatics, Ultraclean Tech &
Ramset Automatic Gates.
12. Amaranta Entertainment: 2014 - 2016
My Learnings:
1. Marketing a single brand in a focussed manner on multiple channels.
2. Managing logistics for over 200 musicians and crew
3. Managing budgets and finances.
4. Government policies and regulations for conducting large scale events.

6. Event and sponsor ROI reporting.
Later In 2014, following a short stint with RK Global due to
health reasons, I moved to client-side and took over
marketing & operations for a talent management agency
called Amaranta Entertainment, that promoted individuals in
the field of music and sports. Over a period of 2 years, I led a
20 member team to execute/market five successful music
festivals and organised over 50 shows for artists we were
promoting. I was responsible to direct the website, social
media and advertising agencies to market the company’s
events & talent.
Notable Achievements:
Raised over 30 lakhs in sponsorship for 3 events
Sold out tickets & packed a 1500 seater auditorium for 2
years in a row.
13. Whoa Mama Design: 2015 - Present
Whoa Mama Design is known in the market as the best design agency in Chennai
who are on the cutting edge of brand design & communication for the B2C market.
They service a variety of industries from real estate, hospitality, healthcare and
education. With the increasing demand for digital advertising, I was offered the
challenge to build the digital marketing division and curate the social media
channels for SIP Academy, Palam Silks, Poker Nation & WMD. In a short span of 2
years, I used engaging content like contests, blogs, quizzes & video that bolstered
their reach and engagement as well as launch 15 websites.

Quadrupled the fans, reach & engagement of SIP Abacus facebook page from
1500 to 10000 fans. (70% Organic)
