Martial Arts Brief of:
Kyoshi Moses Kgosibodiba
Kyoshi Moses Kgosibodiba was born on the 28 June 1964, Tlokweng and began
martial arts training in 1979 whilst at high school, Lobatse. His initial eight years
were spent without an instructor. Not many would have had the courage to
continue training. He had trained under various instructors and dojos.
In 1986 he came under the instructorship and mentorship of Hanshi Dr. Patrick
Solly Makgabenyana whilst at the University of Botswana up to present. Together
with Grandmaster we saw them introduce the Secondary Schools Karate
Championships from 1989 – 2000. I note with awe that he has beyond odds single
handedly ran the impossible task of organizing and running the affairs of the
Secondary Schools Karate Championships then. His current passion, albeit an
obsession, is improving structures and processes within Oikado and martial arts in
general and taking the art to communities and to the world future, the children.
It is through such commitment into the development of the martial arts at grass
roots level that I have the privilege to present Kyoshi Moses to the world. This
presentation emanates from his various international, continental and nationwide
training and coaching clinics. The Karate and Motivation Program and
OutReach are a component of The Grassroots Development Program.
This presentation also forms part requirements for admittance into higher levels of
Black Belts and for admittance into the chartered membership and instructorship
and into the Naidu KarateDo Academy International, World Union Grandmasters
Council, World Martial Arts Council, Institute of Science of Strategy [ISS], and
National College of Martial Arts [NCMA] International and to accreditation
bodies.
We underscore the fact; Kyoshi has a heart and love to engage children and
youth through practice in the martial arts. We are also delighted that he is
fulltime into martial arts teaching and is available around the clock to share,
teach and impart knowledge and skills to all and sundry.

He has been appointed as Botswana country and Africa representative for NKA
International to unify the teaching of Budo to bring martial artists together for
the upliftment of human beings. To share human values in a program called

For 12 years he studied various martial art systems of Shukokai, Shotokan, Jeet
Kune Do and Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Jujutsu. In January 1984 he relocated to
University of Botswana. He became founding student members of University of
Botswana Karate School 1986 to which Oikiru Ryu Karate Jitsu Do, OIKADO,
was introduced by Hanshi Dr. Patrick Makgabenyana. Kyoshi Kgosibodiba has
taught many people and secondary schools, and advanced his knowledge of
martial arts with the styles of:

Among others, Kyoshi was delegated to propagate Oikiru Ryu Karate Jitsu Do in
Botswana and globally. Through this assignment Kyoshi became one of the most
distinguished and distinctive martial arts teacher up to present.
1988-2000 Introduced Oikado Nationwide Secondary Schools Karate
Championships.
1988-present Conduct Nationwide and International Coaching, Training and
Gashuku and Seminars.
In 2009 Kyoshi was graded 6th
Dan Black belt by Hanshi Dr. Patrick
Makgabenyana, 8th
Dan.
1st
January 2014 he was inducted into and being prepared for the 7th
Dan Black
belt by Hanshi Dr. Patrick Makgabenyana, 8th
Dan Oikado. Three International
Grandmasters have since 2015 to present graded and promoted Kyoshi Moses to
the rank of 7th
Dan Black belt.
Martial Arts Teaching History:
The number of students Kyoshi Kgosibodiba has taught and continues to teach is
countless (see attachment below). He is Chief Instructor of Oikado Martial
Arts School International Botswana responsible for maintenance of standards
administrative and technical. Kyoshi Kgosibodiba is senior student and disciple of
Hanshi Dr. Makgabenyana. Kyoshi Kgosibodiba has participated in all and in
some co-authored Hanshi Dr. Makgabenyana martial arts monograms and books

Kyoshi Moses Kgosibodiba is a graduate of the University of Botswana with
Bachelor of Education (Science, Biology major, 1990) and Postgraduate Diploma
in Counseling Education (PGDCE, 1998). He runs a company called Nevaldin
Enterprises Pty Ltd which does general supplies. The company has a martial arts
service department managed by him as chief instructor; Tiger Dojo Group
Botswana of Tlokweng Martial Arts Academy.
We are privileged to have such a highly knowledgeable martial artist. We indeed
are honored to share our teacher to the world.
