The Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition (PNDC) is the association for Northwest defense and security industry
businesses PNDC focuses on strengthening our members’ companies business growth, our region's economy,
and our nation's security through training, one-on-one counseling, business-to-business networking, and
advocacy.
Marketing Responsibilities:
Website management: Edited the design/layout of site while updating content daily as well as
maintained blog posts, news updates, membership updates and event postings.
Event Registration: Designed the layout and made edits to approximately 45 event registration pages per
year through Constant Contact and later using an industry association software product.
Event Coordination/Prep: Organized networking events, Congressional Roundtables, tradeshows,
symposiums, and workshops (45-50 per year). Generated and updated marketing materials, event flyers
and brochures using Publisher.
Developed and maintained relationships with our 220+ member companies to ensure satisfaction.
Data Management Responsibilities:
CRM Data Management System (Salesforce and Memberclicks): Daily additions and updates to our data
base with over 9,000 individual contacts. This included making sure all contact and business info was
accurate within our system, as well as adding any additional info as needed.
NWB2B: Manage and maintain over 5,000 company profiles on NWB2B, an online sourcing platform
tool that connects manufacturers with suppliers of products and services in the Pacific Northwest.
Financial Responsibilities:
Invoicing: Tracked and sent out invoices for membership renewal as well as individual events, both
before and after the event has taken place.
Processing Credit Cards: Processed bills and invoices for payment; oversaw the collection, record
keeping of receivables/collections; and accounted for fees and other monies collected at events.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Office Admin Support: Duties included, but not limited to; responding to emails, answering phones,
photocopying, data entry, mailings, ordering materials, supplies, printing services and office equipment.
Executive Admin Support: Provided direct support to our President/CEO and Program & Events
Director such as making travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, and any other requested task.
