4. In August 2018, I have started my career as a Site Engineer at Munirka
Elevated Corridor Project, Delhi in Hindustan Construction Company
Limited. The main scope of Munirka Elevated Corridor Project is to
construct 2.9 Km flyover from IIT Delhi to NH98. The cost of this project
is 278 Cr. In this project, I have learnt several construction
methodologies such as Piles, Pile Caps, Piers, Pier Caps, Portal Beams,
Girders, Deck Slabs etc. My responsibilities in this project are given
below:
Studying and understanding the drawings and execution of
construction activities as per approved drawings
Implementing and ensuring all safety practice in order to protect
man, machinery and all other employed at site.
Coordinate with client and take approval by them prior to
shuttering and concrete for each part of structure.
Responsible for the physical delivery of project as per contractual
commitment with safety and quality standards.
Assisting Construction Manager in all project related issues.

7. Deck Sheeting for Slab: Due to heavy traffic and limited access space, it was
not possible to install shuttering for the deck slab. So, the team installed deck
sheet instead of shuttering which did not require support from below.

8. REINFORCEMENT – DECK SLAB
Reinforcement for Deck Slab: I have prepared Bar Bending Schedule for the
deck slab and I am responsible for proper placing and fitting of Reinforcement
as per approved drawing.

9. Casting of Deck Slab: M45 Grade concrete was used for deck slab. I was
responsible for the shuttering & proper compaction of concrete and curing.

17. 2.9 Km Munirka flyover was inaugurated by Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of
Delhi on 16th July, 2019.

18. In August 2019, I got a transfer to Sone Bridge Project, Bihar and I was
promoted to Planning Engineer. The main scope of the Sone Bridge
Project is to construct 2.9 Km Main Bridge over the river Sone and 7.5
Km of approach roads which connects from Aurangabad and Rohtas
districts. This project consists of 1 Main Bridge, 5 Minor Bridges, 5
Vehicular Underpasses, 23 Hume Pipe Culverts and 7.5 km of approach
roads.
The cost of this project is 501.11 Crs. Client is Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman
Nigam Limited. I was responsible for both Planning and as well as
Quantity Surveyor activities.

19. Roles & Responsibilities:
Preparation of Progress reports, Productivity analysis and all other
reports and presentations for senior management and client review
meetings.
Preparation and updating the project schedule and annual project
budget for time and cost controls and assisted in contractual time and
cost claims.
Preparation of Running Account Bills for the project on monthly basis
and getting certified from client.
Reconciliation of materials & DPR Vs Client Billing Vs Subcon/ PRW
Billings.
Calculation of materials required for Road works and Structure works
by studying and understanding the scope of work from drawings and
BOQ and giving requirement to store department for procurement.
Preparation of Turnover of the project and preparing cash flows.
Preparation of Subcon/ PRW bills on every month end.
Booking the DPR & Client, Subcontractor/ PRW bills in SAP Software
(System, Applications & Products in Data Processing.

21. Main Bridge: Length of Main Bridge was 2.9 Km. Well Foundation for piers and
Abutments with Pier cap of sufficient width to accommodate the superstructure of 4
Lane. Segmental PSC Box Girders were used.
