3. WHAT IS STRESS
• Stress involves too many pressures that demand
too much from you either physically or
psychologically. Stressed people though can still
see a light at the end of the tunnel, they just often
can't figure a way to get to it.
4.
5. WHAT IS BURNOUT
• Burnout is a condition that is often a result of
chronic stress and burnout is really a combination
of physical and physiological symptoms, including
physical fatigue emotional exhaustion and a
decreased sense of efficacy or accomplishment

7. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRESS & BURNOUT
• If we look at stress vs burnout there are some key
differences for us to know.
• First of, stress is a situation where you are kind of
overactive , you’re irritable.
• Where by the time you get a burnout your disengaged
and you’re starting to feel numb
9. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRESS AND BURNOUT
• In stress, we have got a lot of worry,, anxiety and and
pressure that demands too much of you physically and
mentally
• But by the time that turns into burnout, it's more like
you’re apathetic, cynical
• If stress feels like you’re drowning in responsibilities,
burnout is a sense of being dried up.
11. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRESS & BURNOUT
• In stress you tend to be actively trying to fix things. You
are a little bit frantic
• Whereas by the time that gets all the way to burnout, you
are feeling very discouraged and very unmotivated to try
because again, you fell like you are not even making a
difference😑
13. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRESS AND BURNOUT
• In stress we are often edgy and amped up and wired.
Sometimes we may also fell that we are tired but we fell
wired and edgy
• Whereas by the time that gets to burnout you are
physically emotionally and mentally exhausted 😩JUST
DONE
15. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRESS AND BURNOUT
• In stress your mind is going, it is busy, it is racing. You
have thoughts about your surroundings
• Whereas by the time you get burnout, you have got a fog
brain fog. Your mental function is not working. Probably
your memory or at least short term memory is fried🤯
16.
17. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRESS AND BURNOUT
• In stress you are having trouble sleeping. You have got
insomnia. Or you are waking up extra early with your mind
already going
• Whereas when you get into burnout, you were either
excessively sleeping, you are just completely GONE, but
you do not wake up feeling refreshed
