2. 1997:
I first did it
with DOS
• My first computer lesson was back in my
junior year in high school. I remember
memorizing short commands using the
keyboard and saving files in floppy disks.
3. 2000: I got bitten by the Tech bug
• While the world got curious about the Y2K
bug upon the turn of the century, I made
my first email account which I still use until
now (more than a decade later).
4. Technology in school
• Some of my professors still
used transparencies with
their handwritten notes
flashed on an OHP.
• I was still able to submit
typewritten occasional

8. 2009:
Gradual growth
with Technology
• My slow but steady progress in integrating

university.
9. Capability building in EdTech
• My first training in using
technology in the classroom
Intel Teach Elements is the Intel Teach Program.
11. My first job as Resource Speaker
• The very first time I was invited to be Resource Speaker,
I lectured on ICT integration!
12. My online course
• I have been handling language teaching
courses online using our school’s learning
management system.
13. My e-Social Life
• I keep three e-mail accounts.
• I have Facebook and Twitter accounts.
14. The most recent development
• I am now enrolled in a graduate course in
Educational Technology.
15. Moving forward
• The growth may be gradual,
but it is definitely
continuing. I am excited to
explore technology more
and see where it takes me
not only as a teacher but as
a learner as well.
16. … and my EdTech Story continues.
