1. Synopsis: A house, at
11:30 at night is silent
apart from the radio.
Corpses. Everywhere.
Blood is dripping on the
walls and balloons
everywhere. A lone man
sits and just watches
this standstill on a chair
at the back of the room.
He must have done it,
but why?
Characters:
Balloon: dressed in
black may or may
not have a disturbing
mask on.
4-8 corpses:
covered in blood
disturbing
Final victim:
screaming loudly,
and stabbed to death
House of
Balloons
Narrative and
performance:Balloon will be
played in a disturbed manner
intimidating and frightening. He
seems to be sadistic enjoys what he
is doing and has a very dark sense
of humor, which is shown in the
film.
The corpses will be bloodied in the
face with the majority of them with
their eyes open and in positions
that would assumed by someone
who is alive (e.g. one is sitting
upright directly looking at Balloon.)
The final victim will be terrified by
balloon o the point where all
he/she can do is scream for help as
Balloon executes her on the sport.
Setting and Location
The setting for the piece
will be at my house as I
feel that it has the right
amount of space within
the living room to get the
dynamic shots that I need
for the film. The lights in
the living room can be
adjusted easily so it will
help with creating the
tone for the piece.
Setting and Lighting:
Ideally, I will need a large living
room to film the sequence which
will be voluntarily have fake blood
on the cast in their house. The
lighting will be bright enough to
see what is going on but dark
enough to show how late it is and
to create a disturbing atmosphere.
Camera and Editing
The camera shots will
be slow and pan out
slowly in certain scenes
to widen the scope of
the acts of the murders
as well as add
atmosphere to the
story. The film will be
edited in final cut.
Costumes
The murderer will be wearing a white
shirt that it is button up completely with a
large coat on over the top. He will be
wearing a mask to hide his face in some
scenes. The corpses will be wearing party
going, casual clothes. Their faces may
have blood marks on them and possibly
on their clothes.
