Have you considered using a coach, but not sure of what all it entails. View this presentation to learn what coaching is and is not. Find out if coaching makes sense to help you grow your business.
2. What is coaching?
focuses on clients taking action toward the realization
of their visions, goals or desires
helps individuals and organizations develop more
rapidly and produce more satisfying results.
3. Coaches Also Help the Successful
Coaching is not limited to those who are struggling.
A running back for the Tennessee Titans
signed a four-year, $53.5 million contract
extension, with $30 million in guaranteed
money. Yet, he has a coach to help him
develop strategy for the team they’ll be
playing next and to analyze his performance
with the team they last played.
4. Coaches Are Not Consultants
Coaches ask questions to enable the
client to recognize what is needed to
move forward.
Coaches stay with clients to help
implement the new skills, changes,
and goals and to make sure they really
happen.
5. Coaches are not Mentors
Mentors provide expertise to
less experienced individuals
to help them advance their
careers, enhance their
education, and build their
networks.
6. Coaches are not Therapists
Therapy involves
talking about your
past and
understanding why
certain actions
were taken.
Coaches focus on
the present and
future.
7. Not Family or Friends
Coaches have no investment in
the outcome.
There is no preconceived idea
of what the client “should” or
“should not” do.
There is no hidden agenda.
Family or friends may be afraid
for you to changes. Your coach
will encourage change.
8. My mission is to help business owners develop a more structured

clear path toward their goals.
