Solid experience in Operations management, Sales management, sales and sales
development, in the area of computers, printers, printer parts, supplies, general
electronics and electronic equipment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. I really connect with clients, give full
attention about their needs. I listen to them and earn their trust, based on a human touch
with honesty, hard work, knowledge of my products and an assurance that we will be
here to help them and support them in relation to our products.
Being in the real world, visiting clients, those that know little about what they want, and
those that think they know too much, I have learned how to deal with them, aimed not at
fighting with them, rather at gaining their business.
I can manage the Sales Department, build a knowledgeable and motivated sales team,
because I have an education and a solid experience for team building, including:
Definition of goals, project targets, identification of resources, cost analysis, estimation
of profits, and the most important thing, help the sales force to open their minds and let
the energy inside flow with a challenging and winning attitude.
Because of my education, and especially, because I enjoy doing it, I am very comfortable
giving presentations to small and large groups.
When one is a learner, nothing beats experience. Over the years I went thru different
situations, from celebrating achievements to solving problems. I have plenty of
anecdotes, which I often use, because a story is worth one thousand pictures, and a
picture is worth one thousand words.
Good experience in letter of credit processing: When the order is large enough,
sometimes, the client prefer to issue a letter of credit. This instrument is good, however it
is necessary to have good knowledge and experience, in order to process it well and get
paid immediately.
Family and work: During my career I have always studied professional and family
matters. I am convinced that for every person that works, there is a why, and it is
normally the family. Therefore an education in the family should matter to everyone,
because it has great influence in the production and effectiveness at work.

two year program.
b) University of California, Berkeley. June 1975, Master of Science in Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science
c) Lafayette College, Easton, PA, June 1973, Bachelor of Science in Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science. Graduated with honors.
d) Continuing education: Courses on sales, team building, cost analysis, The art of
listening to clients, etc.
4.- Industrial Experience.
May 1986 – March 2015: Operations Manager “Gigante Express Servicios
Tecnológicos, C.A”- Maracaibo, Venezuela.
Duties:
- Structure the departments of the company with a focus to support the sales department.
- Coordinate the work of the department to function with a sense of collaboration.
- Help design a sales plan, and then work back to integrate the plans of marketing,
purchasing, IT, accounting, Human Resources, and continuum education.
- Analyze results in terms of sales volume, quotas, cost of sales, gross profit, net profit.
- Motivational Seminars to sales representatives.
- Seminars focused on sales of our products.
- Competition Analysis.
- Time optimization in addressing clients requests.
