The document outlines the initial ideas and plan for a 6-10 page film script called "Secrets of the Jungle". It will follow three characters exploring an abandoned jungle, discovering something unknown, and ending with a cliffhanger. The target age group is 18-30 and the script will use formal and informal language while adhering to PG rating guidelines. A synopsis describes the characters searching for an ancient gem and the challenges they face. The script will be written in a restricted mode of address due to some violent action scenes.

1. Initial ideas
Content for my script- I will be creating a script for my film secrets of the jungle, this will include a
scene of the film where the characters are exploring the environment but then come across
something they have never seen before, and I will be ending the script with a cliff-hanger. The length
of my script will be around 6-10 pages long.
Angle of article –
The angle of article for my script will the age group 18-30 I will help reflect this by using formal and
informal language. Another point would be that I will be using action scenes so I will need to make
sure that it appeals to the audience and so that I do not go against the PG rules and regulations.
Length of script
The length of the script will be around 1 page per minute of dialogue, most people can speak 100-
200 words per minute so 10 minutes would be 1,000-2,000 words. This would mean that my script
will be around 6 to 10 pages long. We must also follow all the basic guidelines for timings in a script
convention.
Synopsis- My synopsis for my film script will be about the three main characters exploring an
abandoned jungle and trying to find an ancient Jem in that jungle and showing what they face trying
to find the Jem and will end with them finding the Jem and returning to where they travelled from.
Mode of address- the mode address for my film script will be restricted because I will be using a bit
of violence/action scenes in my script, which may not be suitable for the younger audience this is
because I need to make sure I am following my brief. Another point would be that I am speaking to
my audience when saying the characters dialogue.
