2. Education can change the course of your life!

3. Statistics indicate educated individuals:
• Have more income over their lifespan than a high school
dropout or just graduating from high school
• Children do better in school having at least one educated parent
in the home
• Better access to healthcare, including dental, podiatry or
chiropractor
• Know how to access resources within the community, ex.
Scholarships and grants for college
• Travel
• Live in mixed communities
• Own homes vs. Rent
• Be involved in the community, ex. Local PTA and voting
• Be happier overall about life and more optimistic

4. Cons of Dropping
Out of School
• Low wages and inflation
• Medical and Dental Coverage, if any
• Nutrition/Health, ex. Diabetes, high
blood pressure
• Poor Neighborhood/Environment
• Only qualify for low income
employment
• Will be a cycle for the next
generation and so forth and so forth.
