The Palm Beach Institute LLP Administrative Director
October 2012 – December 2013 West Palm Beach, Florida PBI LLP was created by an addictions
treatment legend in 1968 and was met with instant and incredible success. However, my appointment in
October of 2012 was based on the managing partner’s agreement that the treatment field had evolved
significantly since that time but PBI had not kept up with that pace. So, I was hired to bring an addictions
icon into the 21st century. I immediately contracted for the installation of an “in house” lab services
component, I instituted the purchase and implementation of the SIGMUND EMR 7 AXIS records system,
2. created an IT capital gains project based on the purchase of 2.3 million dollars of electronic infrastructure,
back-ups and call center technology, contracted for an updated multi featured website(laptop and mobile
friendly) committed to a 12 month marketing plan based in the NE states, instituted a CEU addictions
professional training program (hosted by PBI) in order to attract industry leaders, developed an intern
training program with Lynn University, I also created a 24 bed medical detoxification unit for adults and
adolescents, an adolescent residential inpatient program and an outpatient partial hospitalization /
intensive outpatient program, that together ensured a continuum of care experience for all PBI patients.
Part of my responsibilities included but were not limited to, providing quarterly board of directors reports,
bi-weekly operations reports, budgetary line item responsibility for cash flow and credit line accounts, and
eventually I was asked to chair the due diligence team preceding the January 2014 facility sale to “The

four levels of care. Psychiatric, mental health, substance abuse service providers. Out of network major
