2. Of note for this position is my Program Management work of AEPS Web Portal.
The Army Electronic Product SupportLogistics Web Portal is highly
relevant to this positionin several areas, including programming of web
forms and collaboration features for DOD which is utilized to collectcritical
data within the DOD. Our programming brought real-time logistics
information providing our WarFighterwith the mostup to date records
available. Working with our Governmentpartners to identify and improve
specificprocesses,we were able to reduce user interaction times and
provide a substantial increase in WarFighter capabilities across all
services. We implemented and maintained DOD Public Key Infrastructure
(PKI), Army Knowledge Online Single Sign On, DOD CommonAccess
Card accessibility. We analyzed, documented and maintained all DIACAP
security requirements,to include IA Control and Tenant Security Plan
maintenance. We implemented and provided reports as required, for
Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs),InformationAssurance
Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs),monthly/quarterly operating system security
patches and TechTips. We created and maintained access controlfor
overall system, to include IP restriction and firewall management, and
implemented and maintained password creation and management control
programs. We developed and administered a database, which includes
RAID management, audit control/review; daily/weekly data back-up
process,daily performance review, planned and implemented optimization
when required. We maintained both public and private (secure)access to
the AEPS website, created and maintained automated business processes
and data and file repository/collaborationareas, and created and
implemented accesscontrol processes.We administered Windows,SUSE
Linux and Oracle servers. Programming was accomplishedwith
ColdFusionand JAVA. We performed daily server log reviews to validate
activities and hardware performance,perform and daily/weekly back-up
process,lifecycle management, and test and install operating system
upgrades. We service and maintain BIG IP Load Balancer for optimized
site accessibilityand redundancy. We maintained File Transfer Protocol
(FTPs)and Secure FTPs for data sharing between the AEPS site and other
DOD managed data systems. Note: The AEPS user base of over 35,000
customers located at sites worldwide, included over 40,000 pages including
transactional, informational and customerspecific,and was used daily by
civilian and WarFighterpersonnelfrom all services.
