strategies presented in course materials
Grade Breakdown:
• Clear summary of material covered over the course of the semester 10 points
• Focus point clearly articulated 20 points
• Obvious pivot from what was covered to how you will use the skills you used in the
future 10 points
• Writing clarity/ grammar 10 points
Note: I will be grading your summary, focus point, and pivot based on your use of terms and
ideas covered throughout all our readings in The Norton Field Guide. Show me that you can
draw from a large range of material we have covered over the last four months. If you can
successfully draw from content we have covered, I will reward you with a good grade! If it is
obvious that you have not been doing the reading, I will grade you accordingly. If you need help
