-Actions that are happening now.
Example:

present, but not necessarily at this
moment.

-Subject + Verb to be in Present + Verb-ing
+ Complement.
I = am + Verb-ing.
Example:
I am playing.
You, we and they = are + Verb-ing.
Example:
They are playing.
He, she, it = is + Verb-ing.

4. Negative:
-Subject + Verb to be in Present + “Not” +
Verb-ing + Complement.
Example:
I am not working today.
You are not working today.
She is not working today.
Question:
-Verb to be in Present + Subject +Verb-ing

Example:

Are they reading a book?
Is she reading a book?
