3. • Introduction
Bullying is a pervasive social issue characterized by repeated
Acts of aggression, harassment,or intimidation directed
towards an individual or group.One of the form is the Physical
Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior that involves the use
of physical force or violence to exert power and control over
another person.The primary motivation behind physical
bullying is often to assert dominance, intimidate, or humiliate
the targeted individual.
4. • Legal Bases
Republic Act No 10627,the anti-bullying law
passed in 2013 is an “act requiring all
elementary and secondary schools to adopt
policies to prevent and address the acts of
physical bullying in their institutions.”
5. • Research Gap
Although physical bullying has provided
valuable insights,there are still some notable
gaps specially in it’s effect on the academic
performance of the students.
6. • Background of the study
*Problem Scenario
Physical Bullying is a serious topic in the school it is
important to know the effects to the students
especially in their academic performance.Physical
bullying is about the bully is using someone
insecurities to make them embarrassed and lose their
confidence on participating in the class.Raising
awareness are primary steps to educate the students
about the consequences of physical bullying and its
impact to the victims.
7. *Observation
We want to conduct this study to know the
effects of physical bullying has a big impact on
one’s confidence and self-esteem,Hence it’s also
effect on the academic performance of the
students.
8. • Statement of the problem
We aim to solve the bad effects of physical
bullying in their performance.The factors that
contribute physical bullying is about getting
center of attraction of the bully specially for
fame.To solve this problem they need to know
the consequences by educating them.This
research target to solve the bad effects of
physical bullying.To achieve this,the researchers
will educate the students about the effects of
physical bullying.
9. • Hypothesis/Assumptions
If we can prevent physical bullying,then the
students would be more confidence and
participative during class discussion.
10. • (RRL) Review Related Literature
Any unwanted physical contact between the bully and the
victim.This is one of the easily identifiable forms of
bullying.Examples include punching,pushing,kicking,teasing,
fighting etc (Savage,2016) It is often dismissed as “horseplay”
or pretend of “just a game” we should be aware that such
“games” could be a precursor to physical assaults.What is
alarming is that of all types of bullying,verbal,and relational
bullying occurs more frequently than physical bullying (Gibson
2011).
11. We survey select 5 students in every section of
Grade 8 Learners equivalent to 40 students of Grade
