Bullying in School
Abstract– Bully was once regarded on ordinary parts of growing up all the school change a lot though the years over time. The school is supposed to
be a safe place and secure environment.
There is an increase concern about recognizing, interviewing, to preventing bully within the school. What are we suppose to do about Bullying?
To recognizing bullying is to identify type of bullying. First improve the lives strategies and intervolves both parties the victim and the bully.
There are many challenge for barriers by involves school programs! A small group and angry control and prosaically.

We have learned that ignoring bullying has immediate consequences on student academic and social achievement as well as long–term impacts on the
psycho–social development of the bullies, victims, and bystanders in our schools. Research and practice have demonstrated that evidence–based
school–wide systematic bullying prevention/intervention programs are an effective method of dealing with the problems of bullying and peer
harassment in schools. There are positive impacts on safety and security within the school buildings, the morale of teachers and students and improved
academic and social learning. Although implementing Bullying Prevention/Interventions programs require a commitment of time, resources, and a
willingness to change attitudes and to learn new skills, continuing to ignore bullying is more costly than addressing it in terms of resources spent,
lowered achievement, and poorer social outcomes for our youth.

The boy became the latest in a string of suicides by young Americans who had been abused or ridiculed. He was called stupid, fat, gay and ugly by
his school mates (Swaine, 2011). A great number of schools lack the education in addressing the bullying problem. Some schools either choose to take
action, or others choose to ignore the situation. The school administrators conclude that if an act of bullying cannot be seen, then the problem does not
exist. In the guide "Bullying in Schools", the author implies that: most students do not report bullying to adults. Surveys from a variety of countries
confirm that many victims and witnesses fail to tell teachers or even parents. As a result, teachers may underestimate the extent of bullying in their

I had been warned that he kicked a teacher and left a large bruise. One day, while working with that teacher I saw him get out of his seat, charge
towards the teacher and punch her repeatedly in the ribs. When we calmed him down and had him sit, he clutched scissors and angrily mumble to
himself. Though in that incident he did not direct any physical or verbal abuse towards the students, his actions terrorized his classmates and
several were shaken and crying. I did not understand what caused him to be so angry, day after day, and act out so violently. I raised attention to
the issue and the safety implications for all involved, though the school refused to act on it aside from advising me to leave the room when he
acted up. I was helpless because I was a guest teacher in a foreign country, but as a teacher here I will be prepared and willing to act on bully behaviors.
The focus of my paper is what are bully behaviors and what are strategies for addressing these at school?

The most common type of bullying among females is verbal bullying ("Verbal Bullying" 1). This type of psychological bullying uses derogatory
terms to demean, or lower, the victim in the eyes of others to show that the bully has power over them ("Verbal Bullying" 1). This causes the person to
have low self–esteem and develop depression in that victim ("Verbal Bullying" 1). Verbal bullying is the most psychologically damaging and lasts

the person's feelings, not listening, forcing the victim to do something they would not normally do, and by laying a guilt trip on the victims backs to

The media plays an important role because it has become a significant part of our daily lives. There is an alarming amount of violence present in the
programs watched by children and adolescents. They are being exposed to this daily from movies to television shows to video games and to the news

Kids can be surprisingly cruel these days. Sometime the kids pushing another can be an honest mistake. Fights may break out too. However if they do
it is important that the two kids make up and forget the whole issue lest they keep a grudge. According to time magazine, rough behavior crosses the

Antidepressants such as Prozac and Luvox are also known to have adverse effects that include irritability, aggression, and hostility. Therefore, it is

Bullying is no laughing matter and the fact that some people do not take it seriously is really depressing. It's a real–world issue that needs to be dealt

For this solution to work, different people need to be involved with this such as the principal, the parents of that child, and the teacher that that child
had. This problem will be easier to manage if the child that is being bullied, provided some sort of evidence for the teacher so that the principal knows
that the teacher is not making up the situation. For this solution to happen, there needs to be a meeting between the principal and the child's parents so
that everyone can come to an agreement for their child to be put in a support group. From there, the principal will discuss with the child's parents that if
their child continues to repeat this same behavior towards another student then they will have to be taken to an alternative school. Support groups could

We have learned that ignoring bullying has immediate consequences on student academic and social achievement as well as long–term impacts on the psycho–social development of the bullies, victims, and bystanders in our schools. Research and practice have demonstrated that evidence–based school–wide systematic bullying prevention/intervention programs are an effective method of dealing with the problems of bullying and peer harassment in schools. There are positive impacts on safety and security within the school buildings, the morale of teachers and students and improved academic and social learning. Although implementing Bullying Prevention/Interventions programs require a commitment of time, resources, and a willingness to change attitudes and to learn new skills, continuing to ignore bullying is more costly than addressing it in terms of resources spent, lowered achievement, and poorer social outcomes for our youth.
