This poem tells the story of a noble man named Melojen D. Ompad who rose from poverty through self-education and determination to become a leader who fought for the freedom and rights of Indios. Despite facing difficulties due to being poor, Ompad worked diligently with purpose and action as an instrument of diligence. He showed love for his country and God by guarding the mandates of KKK and beginning changes that should be remembered and valued so that the Philippines no longer cries out.
