WORK EXPERIENCE
February 2015 till present - Business Development Officer at African Comprehensive HIV/AIDS
Partnerships (ACHAP) where some of my duties are finding potential new markets within
Botswana and Southern Africa, tracking of current business opportunities to ACHAP and
ensuring that deliverables are met, proposal development and writing, business administration
duties, supporting the marketing, advocacy and communications department in strategy
development, developing timelines for proposals, putting together compliance checklists and
putting together research and supporting documents for proposals. I liaise ACHAP with relevant
stakeholders and ensure that ACHAP’s strategy is affiliated to its external partners. I also work as
a support function to other departments such as Grants, Programs, M&E and Training.
2. October 2014 - Tebelopele Voluntary Testing and Counselling where I was a Marketing and
Communications Officer. Some of my duties included exhibiting and marketing Tebelopele
services at various fairs, workshops, conferences, seminars, wellness days and outreach sites. I
was responsible for also marketing Tebelopele using social media and also coming up with
creative ways to ensure Tebelopele reaches monthly testing targets across the country. I was
responsible for staff support functionssuchas conveying counselors daily to their various testing
and counselling outreach sites and marketing the Tebelopele Training Center.
February 2011- May 2011- Internship at the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture (Department
of Arts and Culture). Worked in the Administration Department under the Accounts Unit where
I was responsible for preparing payments and facilitating day to day expenses used by the
department and also procuring goods and services for the department , Customer care;
Responsible for welcoming customers in the department ensuring that they were assisted by the
relevant officers, Record keeping; Record keeping was one of my main duties and I ensured that
every customer’s file for payment was properly labelled, administered, signed and filled,
Managing incoming calls; I answered and dispatched daily calls in the department and assisted

chosen as the project leader for the data collectors where we were responsibly for capturing and
analyzing data from various clinics across the South East region of Botswana through ACHAP. I
performed this assignment to a very satisfactory level and I can provide a reference for further
proof.I also have experience in working with multiple donor-funded projects from reputable
funding donors such as PEPFAR,CDC and The Global Fund through ACHAP.
3. I was trained in qualitative and quantitative data entry using key informant interviews methods.
This training was a result of ACHAP being contracted to by the Vision 2016 Council through HRDC
to evaluate the effectiveness of the Vision 2016 pillars, goals and objectives in regard to health
sector. I performed this assignment to a very satisfactory level and I can provide a reference for
further prove.

Charismatic; I interact well with others and have the ability to make a connection with people at
all levels by being sincerely interested in them. During my time at Tebelopele I had the
opportunity to go and exhibit at the Tlokweng Centre for the disabled where I interacted well
with children that various disabilities such as blindness, deafness, and physically impaired
children.
Adaptability; my open mindedness equips me with the ability to be flexible and adjustable to
different situations encountered.
Responsibility and integrity; I believe that honesty as well as accountability are major factors in
building both my pride and dignity as a person. During the time I was assigned to the USAID
VMMC data capturing project I was given the responsibility of issuing and collecting brand new
high-end tablets from the team of data collectors and ensuring they are used and handled with
care
Self driven and ambitious; Can work with minimal supervision as I am always keen in producing
results. As a leader for the data capturing team I always ensured that my team reached the daily
target set by VMMC management. I would motivate the team by leading by example. I did this
without any supervision from the VMMC supervisor.
Creativity, diversity and innovative; having studied at Limkokwing university of creativity and
innovation has equipped me with the skills of being creative at all levels and situation variables.
This characteristic of mine was put to the test at Tebelopele when I was tasked to plan and
organize a Valentine’s Day celebration for couples who came for testing. I manged to pull off a
memorable, creative and unique event that was at alow cost to the organization which ended
up being rated as one of the best events in the history of Tebelopele’s Valentine’s day
celebration.
4. HOBBIES
- Off road motorsport activities; I have a strong passion for off road activities, as a
spectator and someone who is active towards motorsport development in Botswana.
- Travelling and experiencing the diverse cultures and heritages of Botswana. I would like
to expand my horizon and grasp at the opportunity to travel to places around the world.
